First Day

Elizabeth POV:

A month has pass with no interruptions. Me, Ray, and Kiana have been closer than ever and Ray and I's love is still standing strong.

The first day of senior year is tomorrow, I'm so not ready to enter that drama filled hell_ hole.

Currently I was laying on the couch in the lounge/living room area watching Tyler Perry's House of Payne. As it went to commercials, Ray came in plopping on top of me.

"Hey babe.." I said kissing his lips while playing with his braids.

"You've been here all day skittles, you need to do something before school starts" he said turning around to face me.

"I will ninja"

"Oh so you got jokes?" he chuckled.

"Not necessarily" I shrugged.

Ray calls me skittles and I call him ninja, it was our little nicknames for each other since we were kids, well most of the time.

"C'mon let's go...we gotta meet Kiana at the mall she's waiting on us" he said getting off of me, pulling me up.

I didn't cooperate back. If he wanted me to go he would have to carry me. I lifted my arms up like a baby with the cutest puppy face and he smiled. He picked me up walking us back to our bedroom.

He chose an outfit for me which was khaki shorts, space jams 11, and a black bandoe. I looked at him as if he was dumb.

"What? it's like 95° outside. Rather be cooked?"

"Rather be cooked than exposed to the cutest guys out there"

"That's my girl" he kissed my forehead leaving the room.

"IM WAITING OUTSIDE" he yelled.

I went back to my drawer and picked up a black floral designed tank top to match my outfit. I greased up my hair, combing it and putting it up into a high messy bun. Did I mention I cut my hair? Well yah I did, shoulder length, and I have my moments where I hate it. I stuck my crystal earrings in my ear and put on the necklace Ray gave me on our first date.

I took my Forever 21 cross body bag stuffing my phone, charger, gum, wallet, and headphones.

I dashed outside hopping in Ray's white civic, we were going simple on the cars.

He took the freeway as I started up a conversation.

"You know I could've just drove the escalade?"

"No girlfriend!"

"Wha- Why not?" I whined pulling the 't' sound.

"Because I'm the man and I'm suppose to drive my girl places"

"Ok just remember that" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Bae? you mad or nah?"

I tried not to crack a smile because he knows that gets to me each time. I wouldn't budge though.

He put his hand on my thigh, rubbing it slowly. I placed my hand on top of his and threw his hand off of my thigh. He sucked his teeth with a look of anger.

I smiled. Got him.

I leaned over kissing his cheek. His face immediately lit up.

We arrived at the mall walking to the food court. We found where Kiana was and walked towards her.

We greeted each other with a side kiss as she hugged Ray.

"What's good girl? Did you order food?"

"Nah I didn't yet but I did get a little distracted by him over there"

She pointed to a guy who was light skin, tall and was a bit muscular. He had thick eyebrows, sorta big black eyes, big lips, and crooked teeth but were still beautiful. I checked out his outfit which was a blue Abercrombie shirt, camo shorts, blue/red high socks, blue/white Adidas, and a blue snapback.

"Oh he's cute" Ray looked at me with a stank face. I clung onto his arm.

"Right?! But he came over and let's just say that flirting was occurring. I just need his name and I'm good."

I gave her a look, "you guys were flirting but you don't know his name? that's dumb" I laughed.

"Shut up. Let's just go order our food"

We got in line and finally ordered what we wanted.

Kiana POV:

As I was eating my taco 'the guy' walked up to the table and sat right next to me. He dapped Ray up and smiled at Elizabeth.

I took a bite while looking at him waiting for him to talk. He just returned the stare. I chocked on my food while giggling. I took a napkin wiping the corners of my mouth.

"Ha what are you doing here?"

"What? I can't chill with my girl?"

"HA Who's your girl?"

"Bae quit playing"

"Bae?!"

"Lol chill girl I'm messing with you"

Liz kicked my leg giving me look and I flipped her off.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Lucas and yours?"

"Kiana"

"Well miss Kiana would you like to hang sometime?"

"I'd like that" he gave me his phone and I entered my contact as 'Ki😍'.

Ray, Liz, and I finished our food and as of right now we were shopping in different stores. Right now was Forever 21. I picked up a bikini and held it to my body. I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head in my neck.

I pulled his arms off feeling uncomfortable.

"Sorry, I need space, Lucas."

"It's cool, whatcha doing" he rubbed his head.

"Shopping lol"

"I figured"
