Kiana POV:

School was let out early so me and Lucas left. I really liked him and was waiting on him to ask me out.

I don't care where it is as long as it wasn't at a bus stop and Burger King.

He was driving, he took us to King Buffet because we were in that Chinese mood. We decided on our drinks and the lady told us we can now go get our food.

I grabbed a big plate and filled it up with white rice, shrimp broccoli, fried rice w shrimp, salted shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and etc. I walked back to the table already seeing Lucas eating.

"Wow that was quick" I chuckled.

"Girl you know I don't play with my food." His plate was filled.

~skipping to when they're at Ki's house~

All that food made me feel tired. I wanted to go over Lucas's house for a change but we just decided on crashing at my house. Right now we was just chilling in the living room embracing each other's silence.

He laid back as I laid back against his chest also. I was fidgeting on his phone as he continued to play in my curly hair. I had this question stuck in my mind all day, I decided to ask him.

"Lucas?"

"Yeah babe?"

"Why aren't we together?" I tilted my head up a little so that I was looking directly in his eyes.

"Impatient much?" he laughed as I laughed along with him. "Well I was going to wait until this week was over but since your whining, Kiana August, would you like to be mine?"

"Of course I will" I crashed my lips onto his. He bit down on my lips as I parted them. He slid his tongue in, it tasted like mint.

Finally.

I turned my body around so that I was now straddling him. "Let these hoes know your mine" I smirked.

I held his chest tight as I laid my head right under his chin. He chuckled before turning on the tv as 'Despicable Me' was playing.

Ray POV:

As I left Liz to walk to Amanda's house, I kept feeling a bad vibe from it. I knew for a fact she wasn't cheating because she hates cheating. I shook off the feeling and just began to ride off to Costco.

As I was driving there on the corner of my eye I saw a figure appear in the passenger seat. I looked to my right and there sat Chresanto. I was used to him talking to me but not appearing to the naked eye.

"What's good bro?" he held onto the car handle.

"I know you know but I got Liz back finally. It feels good to call her mine again." I cheesed.

"That's good. I'm glad y'all are together again because I just couldn't stand watching all them thirsty niggas- get on her."

"Forreal bruh"

"If I was alive I would bust a cap in they ass!"

We both laughed.

"Why' didn't you do anything 'bout it?"

"Because.. I honestly don't know man but in all honesty I was fed up!"

"Pussy-ass-nigga" he mumbled.

"Man hush up!"

"Relief to know you ain't the baby's father huh.."

"I heard that and yeah I expected you to ask about that. But I'm gunna talk it through with Liz just to make sure she understands"

I stopped at a red light changing the radio station.

"Aight you do that bro and keep a close eye on her, protect her. I'm serious, don't ask me no questions but I'll see you around" He dapped me up just like how we used to. It felt so real, it was like he wasn't even dead!

What did he mean by keep a close eye on her and protect her? I just got my girl back and life was finally getting good and shit- wants to come up and ruin it. I'm so glad I got Chresanto to warn our asses about things.

I finally arrived at Costco and loaded the cart. I went around all the sample booths eating just about everything. I filled the cart up with strawberries, berries, whip cream, sparkling cider, cookies, rice krispies, water cases, a box of spicy wings, and mostly junk food.

I paid for all and just as I was about to leave, I bumped into someone, Jawan. All he did was smirk and walk away mugging me.

Quite odd?

He better stay away from Liz because if he don't I will put him 6 feet under. I put that on my life.

Jawan POV:

If you guys are wondering what I told my boy Darrell, I'll explain. I told him if he could go find ole homegirl and basically rape her. I don't care if he got pleasure from it or not as long as he got her pregnant. See if he got her pregnant Ray would be pissed Tf off and leave her. That's when I jump in and be her bandaid, she'll fall right in love with me forgetting all about Ray.

Perfect huh?

I just have to make sure no one gets in my way and I mean no one.

First day of midterms and it was horrible. On top it snowed crazy and I fell in school tryna get to the bus😒✋.
