Elizabeth POV:
First period was about to end in 5 min. We did nothing but talk about the fight in health so that was a waste of my learning time.
I got a pass from Mrs. Cutolo leaving the classroom. I was in search for Kiana and she never returned. As I was walking down the 500s I heard faint sniffling and breathing.
I back tracked taking a hidden hallway. I walked down a little further and the noises became clearer. I saw Lucas and Ki on the floor cuddled up as Ki kept crying.
"Ki what's wrong? what happen boo?" I crouched down to there level.
"Yo we gotta leave bruh" she said in tears.
"Wai-what why?" I scrunched my eyebrows together looking at the two.
"He's back Liz. I knew that little bum wasn't gone! I'm gunna shoot his ass_!" She yelled the last line pounding the ground.
"Before you go shooting anybody, who's back?"
"Jawan" she said bluntly.
I had my mouth in an 'o' position and just stayed that way. Lucas leaned over to me holding my shoulder.
"Liz your good? What's so bad about Jawan"
That sentence broke me from my trance. I got up and stormed out of the hallway going no where in particular. As I kept going in a straight line I bumped into someone tall.
"Oh sor-"
I looked up to see who I was facing. I was there alone standing face to face with him. Yeah, he's officially back.
All the memories came back. Then Ray came back to mind.
Before he could even get a word out I ran away going, again, nowhere.
