Side Chick?

Kiana POV:

I decided to walk home with Lucas. We had the same paper due that Ray and Liz had.

"So like when you want me to wife you up?" he asked randomly.

"Huh?"

"Kiana I feel like your wife material, the one I could bring home to my mother and start a family with"

"That's very flattering but you don't know my past at all and were still 16"

"But you know they always say when you wait too long, the good ones go" He licked his lips stopping in front of me.

He bent down a little connecting my lips with his. He licked my bottom lip as I parted them. He glided his tongue in, holding my chin. He's such a tease.

"Ok I'll tell you everything when we get home, deal?"

"Deal" He kissed my lips real quick. "Had to seal the deal."

We walked into Dunkin' Donuts to see Ray with another girl. He didn't notice I was in line eyeing him down, his focus was on her.

"Lucas, you see that?" I pointed.

"See what? Ray?"

"Yeah. That's not Liz"

"Just know you won't have to worry about me being with other woman because your the only women I want."

"Your so light skin! But I love your complements and things."

I smiled turning away.

I ordered a glazed donut with Iced Coffee. Lucas got a plain bagel w/ cream cheese and a blueberry coolatta. I started heading over to an empty table right next to Ray but Lucas got in front of me blocking my way.

"Don't even. You know how bad it is to cockblock a guy" I couldn't believe him.

"Ray is my best friend and my best friend's boyfriend. I'm trying to help them" I said seriously before leaving, still heading to the table.

I sat down smiling at Ray. He looked at me startled. A few secs later Lucas sat across from me. He dapped Ray and said hi to the skank.

"So Ray what's up?" I asked.

"Hey Kiana. Just meeting an old friend. What are you doing here?"

"Oh nothing just eating with a friend. Are you gunna introduce me?" I ripped the donut in two.

"Right. Melinda this is Kiana, my little annoying sister. Kiana this is Melinda, an old friend way back before Liz." He whispered off the last part.

"Hi"

"Hm" I smiled.

"Ray who's Liz?" she asked.

Before he could answer her question I answered for him. "His girlfriend" I said bluntly.

Ray gave me that 'nigga_-_-' face.

"C'mon Melinda let's go somewhere else more private"

"K. Nice meeting you guys"

I waved her off.

I turned back around looking at Lucas. He had the straightest face. "I know your just watching out for your friend but damn,could've at least let him tell her." He said as he sipped on his coolatta.

I just shrugged.

Ray POV:

After that little encounter with Kiana, Melinda has been feeling some type of way.

We drove to Starbucks instead, I know for a fact Kiana won't come here. We got ourselves a table near the back window.

"So continue on.."

"Well Ray, I didn't know you had a girlfriend but to be honest who would you pick between me and her?"

Fuck_.

"To be honest it'd still be her because we've been through a lot together and she's been with me since day 1. She's my ride or die chick."

"But I could give you so much more than her. Don't you think?"

"I don't need to tell you our sex schedule. And I'm happy with her."

"You have no choice but to dump her because I'm pregnant Ray" she sounded so demanding and demonic.

"What does that have to do with me?" I asked clueless.

"I'm pregnant with your baby Rayan Lopez"

Those words hit me in the face like a brick. She has to be lying.

"I want a DNA test" I told her.

"FINE"

She stormed out Starbucks leaving me there contemplating on what she just told me. How could she be pregnant? I had on a condom and I pulled out before I could release inside her. The only girl I'd release in is Elizabeth.

I needed some buns tonight.

Kiana POV:

I unlocked the door entering inside awaiting on Lucas. We walked up to my room, plopped on the bed laying side by side to each other.

"Ma, you still have to tell me your past"

I thought he forgot.

"Ok Lucas but whatever I say you can't judge me.."

"No worries" he kissed my cheek laying back down, looking at me.

"Huuughhh.. I haven't talked about this ever, your the first. So when I was younger I had a brother named Chresanto and a mother. My dad was dead to me and my mom was in the hospital. She didn't care about me though, only Chresanto. My brother didn't even pay attention to me because he'd always watch over Liz. At that time I hated Liz so much it was no joke.

So when guys would give me attention, I'd grab it. Guys would..give me attention and I repaid them in anyway they wanted it. I also joined a gang, selling drugs, doing it, and basically killed people. I was in a relationship with one of the members which was Elizabeth's dad. Chresanto found out about the attention seeking from guys but never about the gang. From there he and I changed and got closer. He died never knowing about my second life."

I took a breath. "Take your time" he rubbed my cheeks in circles.

"Long story short, one of the members set me up which got me being a slave and raped daily by different men, he killed my brother but accidentally though because that's where Liz's problems steps in. About two months later, my mom died and I was left with no one but Liz and Ray. I would go on but that stuff is part of Liz also." By now tears were coming out my eyes onto my shirt.

"Wow come here" He brought me into his chest as he held me tight.

"You've been through to much. Things I'd never expect happen to you happened. Just stay with me and you won't ever have to go seek attention or be in danger."

I sniffled. "Remember that Jawan kid we were talking about in school?"

"Yeah why?"

"He's the one. Who's ruining our lives" I sobbed more.

"It's only been about 6 months since all this crap has happened" I whispered.

He squeezed me tighter kissing my forehead. I snuggled deeper into his chest letting him hold me, kissing me softly. A few mins later we both fell asleep.

So Lucas knows about Kiana's past, should he know about everyone else's as well?
