Jack Atlas, a usually serious and arrogant seventeen year old, who would be eighteen soon, was attending a regular school in a new area -- New Domino High. He seemed unfazed enrolling into a normal school compared to all the others he's attended that were rather large and glamorous, per sé , the term "glamorous" being used loosely. It felt odd, the thought of being noticed by everyone and knowing his family name compared to just being lost amongst the crowd of all the other private schools he had attended, but Jack insisted on this regardless of that thought. He didn't care if it was his senior year, he just wanted to be treated like an equal for once, not having to live up to that name he was given. It seemed like too much to ask for, but his mother and father were thrilled over the idea and had no protests, agreeing to suggestion almost immediately. Since Jack had moved yet again due to the Atlas Enterprises company, his father was just about to pick from the various private schools, until his son spoke up, asking to attend New Domino High. It certainly was a surprise, but agreed nonetheless, because so what if he was an Atlas? That seemed to be the least of his worries -- his name... The only thing Jack cared about was finally abandoning that pampered life he had once lived; how he'd grown tired of that life, but his parents had a tendency to go overboard on everything for their two sons and only daughter. However, among all else -- even if he wouldn't admit it -- Jack still had that small sense of nervousness buried deep down, for he never was one to show weakness. He took a deep breath as he climbed off of his glimmering white (and oddly shaped) Duel Runner, stuffing the helmet under the seat.
Jack Atlas had short and spiky sunkist blonde hair that framed piercing violet eyes, two longer strands hanging just in front of his ears. He was dressed in a light blue, long sleeve, button shirt, the top open a bit; navy blue pants with a lighter shade of blue belt around his waist; grey boots; and a special necklace around his neck with the initial of his last name around his neck, sporting earrings with that same letter "A" dangling from his pale skinned ears. With a hand in his pocket and bag over his shoulder, Jack approached the front entrance, when he stopped to gaze up a bit at the school before him.
So this is it, huh? New Domino High... I guess this is just the change I needed, even if it is my senior year. Whatever, doesn't matter to me, because I'll make this work. Jack told himself determinedly as he head for the door to the main building.
"Well, well, lookie what the cat dragged in." A smug voice called.
"Huh?" Jack turned to the strange, but oddly familiar voice.
A male with spiky orange hair and charcoal grey eyes was leaned against the building, arms folded and a smirk dawning his face. He had a green headband with two silver rings around his forehead and earrings shaped like bolt nuts hanging from his ears. The teen was dressed in a sleeveless, orange shirt; brown vest with black belts around his upper arms; light brown, fingerless gloves that almost touched his elbows; dark green pants with various pockets; a black belt; and light brown and black boots.
Jack gave a light smirk, having recognized the person who called out to him. "Didn't expect to see you here, Crow." He said in his husky Australian accent.
The teen known as Crow Hogan smirked, pushing off the wall as he walked up to the blonde, who was significantly taller than him. "I should be saying that to you, Jackie. What's a guy with the Atlas title doing in New Domino?"
He gave a light shrug. "A change of scenery." Jack replied. "My parents moved again, but I couldn't stand going to another private school, and that's when I found this place."
"That so? Even if it's your senior year?"
"It doesn't really matter. Like I said, I couldn't stand those private schools anymore and wanted a little change for once, so here I am."
