Nuriel saw Gemma and May hiding behind one of the big pillars
"I didn't expect you to be here" he says sounding surprised
"Since your here that would mean that Elder Nathan is here as well" Gemma replies calmly while holding on Elianna's arm. Elianna didn't even flinch, she did however looked sad as while gazing at Nuriel
"You look well" Elianna says rather coldly
Nuriel smiles "You too" he replies "You shouldn't be here May"
Gemma blinked and glanced at Elianna, it seems that Nuriel was not aware of what is happening
Elianna played along as she smiles cheerfully " I wanted to see you" as she held his hand " You must miss me too right?"
Gemma looked at her in horror "May we need to go look for Debra" she mutters

Elianna looked into Nuriel's deep blue eyes "You haven't changed one bit"
"It seems that you have" Nuriel glances at Gemma's direction "Did you she drink?"

"-Lois?" another voice cuts her off
Nathan.
"It's so great to see you" Nathan boldly hugs Elianna, she sees Nuriel's affected reaction and she grins and returns Nathan's warm hug " What a delightful surprise" she replies
"I've always imagined bumping into you again" Nathan remarked " And here we are"
Gemma coughed and looked at Nuriel signaling him to interfere. Nuriel got the cue and rushed in between "Elder Nathan, the Reverie clan is waiting for you in the Tibus Hall, they have urgent news" Elianna shot Gemma a glance and smiles "He's right, I must not interfere. I shall be off then" she spoke up and was about to leave
"Wait" Nathan called " Ms. Faulster have dinner with me tonight"
Gemma glared at Elianna telling her to decline
"I'd love to" Elianna replies

As Nathan left, Nuriel grabbed Elianna's arm and pushed her against the wall
"What are you thinking?" he says indignantly "May, you're putting yourself in danger, did you forget about Elianna's hatred towards the Elders? And the Elders will recognize you. They are hunting her as of the moment and everything about her points to your direction"
"You must care about me so much to say such things" she smiles
"What is going on with you? Why are you acting this way -"
"Should I remind you what I look like, what I sound like for you to recognize me?" Elianna touches his lips " Your attraction to May is a lie"
Nathan took a step back, Gemma looks away "That's enough Elianna" she says unhappily
"What have you done to May?"Nuriel raised his voice "You've been long gone!"
"I'm back to take vengeance" she replies while her eyes are glowing gold again, she uses a strong force to push both Nuriel and Gemma away " You have no right to stop me!"
Nuriel stood up and took his sword out
"Are you really going to stab me?" she laughs
"No, I promised myself to never lay a finger on May but this is what I can do to you"
Nuriel wakes Gemma up "I need your blood" he says, Gemma nods
The smell of vampire blood made Elianna weak from hunger, she tries to fight back but her thirst gave out, she leaps towards Gemma who was waiting for her attack "Nuriel, now!"
Nuriel touched Elianna's back which triggered something, making her fall asleep. He held her carefully and softly touched her face affectionately
"May needs a lot of help right now Nuriel, she's becoming weak that's why Elianna's been taking possession of her. She can't control it" Gemma admits

May opens her eyes and sees Gemma and Nuriel looking at her, she stood up immediately and then sits down on the floor again
"What happened and why is Nuriel here?" May asks Gemma
"He. . . knocked you unconscious" she replies quickly " Elianna showed up"
May's eyes met Nuriel who was silent then she looked away
"We need to find Debra and Calissa - "
Nuriel stood up and grabbed May's arms forcibly but without hurting her, Gemma looked surprised but she didn't want to interfere. Nuriel took her to a private cottage, he signaled her to take a seat. They both were silent for a minute
"Did I do that?" May points Nuriel's bruised arm
"No, of course not" he replies
"Then it must be Elianna"
"Listen, you must not let her control you May. She doesn't run your life, you need to fight it"
"There's nothing stopping her"
Nuriel places his hands on her hand, there was sincerity and warmth to it. She didn't want to look at him for the fear that her heart might stop beating
"Don't be afraid to fight what's right" he whispers "Do what you need to do"
May nodded and smiled " Okay"
she mustered the courage to look at him, there's was something in his eyes that he couldn't express but as he drew near, she could see his lips so near. Then they heard a rustle among the bushes, Nuriel stood up and hid her behind him
"Whose there?" he strongly says
May sees his broad shoulders blocking her view, it made her happy inside
"Oops sorry! Wrong place, seems that they replaced the children's park into a private couple park" a familiar squeaked
May peeked a bit and sees Calissa's face looking all guilty
"Calissa!" she called out involuntary
Calissa with her cheerful demeanor jumped in joy then waved her hand "Oh I'm so sorry to intrude. I didn't know you had a boyfriend -" she starts babbling, she didn't see May and Nuriel trying to explain that her idea was wrong but she just kept on babbling " - anyways I lost Debra because she said to go left but I insist that I heard she said right but anyways I have news"
