May opened her eyes and saw fire, she was standing in a strange big room filled with flames and people with armor screaming while trying to cover their head. Some were laughing and screaming at the same time. May could feel the burn underneath her feet, glasses were cracking as she felt helpless watching the warriors die slowly and turn to ashes. Each and everyone of them were falling as she passed by, but before they died they looked at her and said "Vengeance for us" tears started falling from her eyes as she saw herself on the broken mirror, she wasn't crying...she was smiling diabolically, her hands began to glow. She raised her hand and smiled darkly " Now die"

NOOOOOOOO!!!

That was me. Elianna was shut off she couldn't remember... I used to control her, to make her a killing machine, the Elders told me to shut off her emotions, if not then....

Then what?

Then Elianna will be no more. She is rather helpless under the Elder's control so that's why...even if I sound crazy...I was glad she pulled through and betrayed the Elders although I knew she wanted to destroy me. I cannot blame her....I caused her great pain. So much pain.

I will go to the Elders and destroy the fake AVNAR, can you help me find the ill Facades.

May opened her eyes slowly, she saw Debra and Gemma's face. Debra looked relieved and came beside her "Thank God woman you scared me." she says cheerfully

"Where am I?" May weakly asks

"We're in Lukas' private cottage" Gemma winks "I don't think we'd be welcome inside the Hayworth mansion so we took you here, if you don't mind"

"If you're wondering where Lukas and Nuriel are at, well let me give you a hint. They are at St. Louise at the moment"

"What? St. Louise..."

"That's the code for the Facade community, where you once lived...I mean..Elianna for that matter" Gemma spoke up "They will be on the lookout, besides, Nuriel had the opportunity to be one of the official guards for one of the new Elder"

May slowly stood up, the topic seemed to pique her interest "What happend to the former one?"

"He was assasinated"

"Whoa, that's...harsh" Debra says dramatically "Well I just found out that I am a healer, so it means I could manipulate memories!"

"Yes you could, and you also have the ability to feed off energy from humans, vampires, warlocks, and werewolves-"

"-werewolves exist?" May and Debra chorused

Gemma sighed deeply "You didn't seem as shocked when you found out that we vampires exist"

"Are they cute?" Debra asks teasingly

Gemma looked at her with horror "They are ghastly dogs who do nothing but attack humans just because they're always angry. They're being hunted down by Facades and Vampires alike, they're scum and they do nothing but kill and eat anything that crosses their path"

Debra shuddered "I hope we don't run into them"

"I hope so too" May added "So what's the plan?"

"Well it seems that you and Debra are all set, you should bid farewell to the Hayworths. We are heading to St. Louise in two hours. By the way May, your parents and clan are there. I suggest that you avoid being spotted"

"oh shoot they will!" she exclaims "My mother knows me from head to toes"

"We need a total makeover" Debra suggested "I suggest you go blond"

May laughed at Debra's strange suggestion, but she noticed they weren't laughing with her. She bit her lip "Are you serious?"

"That's the only way and plus we need to change your scent" she hold a strange blue bottle and shook it, she placed it in her hands and rubbed at May's neck and wrists "We vampires use this so Facades won't identify us as vampires. This is how we survive."

"I'm so sorry" May apologized softly

"It's not your fault May, we're refugees and we chose to be that way. Being with our clan...we couldn't take it, the bloodshed...the war and the manslaughter"

"Okay, it's final. May, you're gonna go blond whether you like it or not" Debra broke the ice again.

After several minutes Gemma came back with a wig, May gulped, the wig was long and it fit her white pale skin. Debra and Gemma happily assisted her in putting it on, she looked at herself in the mirror she couldn't believe it

" I never thought a wig could change ones appearance" Gemma stated while combing the wig

May gave a faint smile, she was right; she looked different. Debra gave her a black dress that seemed to fit was and a red coat then she smiles "For the mysterious lady wearing black and red" she was grateful for the two girls in front of her even though their friendship and memories was a lie but she couldn't help but cherish them anyways. One vampire, Healer and Facade no matter what we are she knew they were inseperable

"Why is she looking at us weird?" Debra whispers to Gemma

Gemma shrugs "She still might be in shock" then suddenly Gemma placed her hand on her chest, she seemed in pain

"Gemma what's wrong?" May asked while she held her firmly up "Talk to me! Hey"

Gemma closed her eyes and once she opened it her pupils were gone then they appeared again. She looked and Debra and Gemma and smiled "I'm fine, it's just that I get these attacks once in a while. I'll be fine. We need to get going"
