What makes a person break? Is it truth or lie?
That question is blurred......
I feel as though the truth is slowly becoming some sort of tragedy
I should pay for the sins I've cost
May opened her eyes, she wiped them dry. It seems that she was crying in her sleep, this was the second time. As she stood up she slowly peeked behind the curtains again. the streets outside were empty. She slipped on her nightgown and put on her jacket, she headed downstairs to smell the fresh air. As she walked downstairs she noticed something glowing, because of her curiousity she decided to follow it. Suddenly, she realized the light she saw was a lamp and a woman wearing a horrid faux coat was holding it. The lady in coat turned her back and shrieked
"Oh you scared the cats out of me!" she exasperated
"I didn't mean to scare you, I was just curious why you're here" May says uneasily
"Oh I heard something really strange, and it woke me up. It was a terrifying sound near my window and...and well I came down to investigate" she explains "What's your excuse?"
"I wanted some fresh air"
"Oh" she smiles shyly, then extends her hands "Hello, my name is Calissa Reverie and you are?"
"Lois" May replies, trying to convince herself too
"I'm a Healer, let me guess....are you a.. faerie?"
"Wow, not only a Healer but a psychic as well"
suddenly they heard a growl near the trees, Calissa gripped on May's coat., she could sense the fear by listening to her heartbeat
"What was that?" Calissa asks
May sniffed the air trying to use her senses to find out what is lurking around them. She could hear two heartbeats, one seemed anxious and the other calm and vigilant. She slowly holds Calissa's hand and whispered "Run".
Calissa and May sprinted towards the road, she glanced from behind them and saw two large hairy beasts with monstrous blue eyes "Werewolves" she says under her breath "This can't be happening"
both girls stopped running and turned their backs, it seems that the beasts were gone
"Were those werewolves?" Calissa exclaimed "Please tell me it isn't!"
"I wish I could tell you that you're wrong but I'm afraid that you are correct." May replies calmly
"Well are they gone?"
"No, they will find us...and they will kill us because they caught our scent so they might calling out for others"
"What are we gonna do? We can't let them kill us!" she shrieked
May slapped Calissa "Calm down Calissa, you screaming and panicking will not help us. Besides, we can still escape from them"
"How?" Calissa whispers while wiping her tears away "How are we suppose to escape from them?"
Fire, they are afraid of fire....burn your clothes so you scent will disappear
"Fire" May replies trying to listen to AVNAR "They hate fire. Okay here's the plan, I'm bait...once they're after me..you run"
"What about you?" Calissa's voice seemed highly concerned
"What about me?"
"What kind of question is that?" she mutters to herself "You're a faerie, not a warrior...and I'm a healer. Honestly, we're both useless" she sits down and ties her shoes " If you must know I'm from the Reverie clan, it might so mighty but the only special asset we have is our bloodline"
"Bloodline?"
"Yes our bloodline, we are the Reverie you know the Mother Healer? We were suppose to do our duties to watch over the warriors and half-lings in case if they need medical or psychological help. But honestly, I wish I was a Facade" she grinned "They seem to have more...fun and they're so brave it's almost admirable. All we healers do is just assist and make Peace Treaties with other Facade communities. I want to do something worthwhile-"
"-You're being pathetic" May spat "Being a Facade is no dream deal, do you want to watch your friends die in front of you one by one? Do you want that kind of life Ms. Reverie" May slowly whispers coldly " The kind of life that revolves around death...and blood? Let me know if you change your mind."
Calissa's expression says it all, fear and anxiety " I'm sorry if I got a little carried away with my dreams, besides, my clan will never approve of it. Once a healer...always a healer"
May sighs trying to regain her temper, she then heard a howl not too far away from them. May took Calissa by her arm " Do you wanna survive the night?" she says
"Yes I would like that very much" May drags Calissa into the bushes and puts mud on her face "Ew"
"This will cover your scent for a while, when they chase me I want you to run and not a girly run that you just did. Run as if there's no tomorrow left for you. Also, burn the clothes your wearing right now." she instructed " Go to the Gold Suite, my attendants are there and tell them what happened"
"You are quite brave for a faerie" she grinned "Will do"

They're coming
I know that
You have no choice but to kill them....you are aware of that
Elianna would kill them wouldn't she
Yes
Did she enjoy it....?
I can't say, but all I know is that....somewhere deep inside her ..... she is fighting within
I don't want to kill them, I wouldn't want any harm done to those creatures
I pity you....you are too compassionate
Suddenly she hears a low growl behind her, May turned and only saw two pairs of bright yellow eyes. She stood her ground and waited for the wolves to come out of the darkness. She then heard one heartbeat, it was calm which surprised her. She turned her back and saw a silver wolf, it was the most beautiful creature she ever beheld
Kill it immediately
May stood still, waiting for it to lunge her throat but the large silver wolf looked deeply into her eyes as if it too was feeling the same feeling as she did then suddenly she heard a gunshot, the bullet hit the wolf's leg and it made a small cry. May immediately ran and saved the wolf from a unknown huntsman. She saw Calissa's confused expression as she went out of the bushes
"What are you doing?" she asks
"What do you think?" May snapped "Quick, hold the feet will you?"
"Are you sure this is a good idea? It's a werewolf and we're not allowed--"
"A Healer isn't allowed to save a life?"
Calissa smiled and courageously helped her bring the large wolf to a safe location.
