Facade: The Untamed Spirit

Under the Red Blossom tree

"She's awakened?" Wellstone, one of the Elders says. The four Great Elders were having a significant meeting that day, the whole council was present too, even the clans including the Hayworths were there. Nobody knew that the Hayworths were responsible for this madness but they make no plans on revealing their real agenda. Sophie looks at her husband, no expression of guilt, just calm and serene

"How is she?" she whispers

"In great condition" he replies softly "Everything is done accordingly"

Eavesden, the youngest of the Elders stood up, his dark blue eyes were studying each of the crowd's face "I'm glad everyone is here" he says in a gentle manner "But this is an important discussion, the AVNAR is finally located and it seems that one of the most powerful facades known to our community has it, Elianna Freyert of Delion has the AVNAR"

while Eavesden was discussing, one of the daughters of the Reverie clan sighed dreamily and smiled "I didn't know that the youngest Elder was ever so young" Calissa Reverie whispers to her mother while trying to tame her golden locks

"I couldn't agree more my dear, Nathan Eavesden is of 200 years of age and he's already been ranked as one of the most brilliant Elders replacing his late father Theodore Eavesden, it is tradition"

"What about this Elianna, who is she?"

Calissa sees her mom purse her lips "She is of legend, she disappeared with the AVNAR and was thought to be dead, now that she's alive, we know that she will eventually seek revenge. This time I fear that she will be unstoppable with the AVNAR aiding her....this will be war."

"War with a facade?"

"Calissa, a young healer like you must not know the ways of the facade, do you understand my sweet? You are what you are"

"A weakling you mean? It is okay mother, I am not curious of the ways of the facades" she mutters but deep inside her heart she was only fooling herself because everything about the facades fascinate her.

Nathan Eavesden bows gracefully making some the daughters of the clan sigh, he was truly a sight to behold. He was young, graceful, had perfect dark blue eyes and light brown hair even when he rarely smiles his frown was still handsome.

"That young man must not meet my daughter" Sophie huffed "I don't trust him"

"Now now Sophie, that won't happen, May is practically miles away" John grinned.

May and Gemma were walking amongst the tall trees, she knew the truth but she can't stay mad at her even when their friendship was fake. To her, Gemma was her bestfriend, the only thing that mattered to her was the truth

"I'm really sorry May" Gemma says slowly "I don't know how to make it up to you"

"Ice cream" May snapped

"What?"

"The memory you inserted in my brain, when we were older I was bullied by a guy named George then you came and saved me by kicking his butt. How come Debra never...doubted you?"

"I'm a vampire princess remember? I have healer qualities but they don't last forever so little by little it will eventually fade...so wanna go for ice cream?"

"Definitely" May smiled "I don't care whether we were friends or not. All I know is that I care about you and Debra and I will never let anything bad happen to you"

Gemma hugged May and cried "I love you too May! I know friendships between Vampires and Facades are forbidden that's why I didn't expect you to reconsider--"

"--Don't say that. I'm no law abider of the Facade Community whatever, I just want...justice for the Facades who died, they were Elianna's friends and allies"

Gemma picked up a flower then it turned to ash quickly "As a vampire, love is trivial. But when I saw Luke with Elianna, I knew that we could...feel. Elianna could feel, that's why she went on the rampage. May, since you are carrying the AVNAR within you, that means Elianna could very well be alive too. I feel that it's right for me to tell you this but AVNAR is carrying Elianna's restless soul and if by any chance she'll awaken--"

"--I won't let that happen. I won't let Elianna take over me but...I have to destroy all the copied AVNARS that the elders are hiding"

"You mean there are still some copied AVNARS until now?"

May sighed and nodded "Killing the original AVNAR will eventually kill the copies but...well I failed the mission so I'll have to do them manually"

"That sounds so weird when you put it that way" Gemma laughed "One more question"

"The last one"

"Do you have any feelings for my brother Lukas or Nuriel?"

there was silence

"Gemma" May started "I am a different person, Lukas and Nuriel they're great friends but I can't see myself walking like Elianna. She had this body, but this body has a different soul...".

They stopped walking and saw a Red tree bearing pink blossoms that fell slowly on the ground and disappear as if they've been burned. May tried to touch the falling blossom but it seems to burn everytime she touches them, but it was beautiful to behold

"Here we are, the Red Blossom tree that will purify the AVNAR inside you. May this is a purification tree, so by all means you need to pure--"

"I'm a virgin, Elianna has been very discreet---"

"--That's not what I meant!" Gemma says shyly "It's going to be painful when we purify the AVNAR. So you need to be prepared."

May nodded and smiled "Thanks for the concern, this was my choice after all."

May stood at the front of the Red Blossom Tree, she felt the AVNAR inside her resisting but it has to be done, purifiying the AVNAR would help her rid of the hate dwelling inside of her. She needed to control its power not the other way around. She forcefully moved her body towards the tree and hugged it, her body suddenly started to burn.
