Chapter 17

(y/n)POV

Beep....Beep....Beep....Beep...

What is making that beeping noise?

Beep....Beep....Beep....Beep...

I open my eyes slightly to be blinded by the light, I squint as my eyes adjust to the light.

*sobs* Wait is someone crying?I feel someone squeeze my right hand tightly,

"W-wake up (y/n) p-please, I n-need you, I can't l-live without y-you, p-please don't leave m-me, please, I-I l-love you" *more sobbing*

I look the right to see Leo holding my hand, his face buried into the bed crying his heart out, my own heart breaks to see him this way,

"I-Im not g-going anywhere" I say in a raspy voice, 'ugh my throats really dry',

Leo's head shoots up like a bullet, his eyes are really bloodshot he must have been crying for a long time, new tears run down his face but there're not sad tears, there're joyful tears,

"(y-y/n) y-your awake!" He shouts and pulls me into a giant bear hug, making sure not to hurt me though, "B-Bruce wasn't sure i-if you would w-wake up, but I h-had faith you w-would find your way b-back to us, back t-to me" he says and pulls out of the hug,

"And i'll never leave" he smiles and leans in and kisses me, I smile into the kiss and wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist, we pull out for air and he leans his forehead against mine and smiles, I smile and close my eyes enjoying the moment,

"Hey bud hows-" I look to the door and see Wade there, mouth a gape

"(y-y/n) y-your're awake!" He screamed and ran to me pull me into a hug, I chuckle and hug him back, "Thank god your're ok, we were all so worried about you" we pull out of the hug, "I thought I was going to lose my best friend" he pouted with tears in his eyes, 

"Awww Wade, you'll never lose me" I pat his shoulder and he smiles and gives me another hug, he pulls out quickly,

"Oh my god I have to tell everyone your're awake" he sprints out of the room "GUYS! SHE'S AWAKE (Y/N) IS AWAKE!" we hear him scream in the distance and laugh, I cough after and Leo gives me a glass of water, I thank him and drank it, 'Oh my god that feels much better' I give it back to him and he sets it down on the bedside table, we hear people rushing down he corridor and suddenly bust through the door,

"(y/n)!" Everyone shouts and runs towards me and attack me with hugs, I laugh and hug them back,

"(y/n) we were so worried about you!"

"Thank god your're ok!

"How are you feeling?" 

"Do you need anything?" 

"GUYS!" I silence them "I'm fine really" I smile at their concerns, Tony walks to my side and hugs me tightly,

"It's good to have you back kid" he says and pulls out, he has tears in his eyes, which makes me teary eyed,

"It's good to be back, but..uh what happened?" I asked confused, last I remember I was on the quinjet and then I think I passed out, 

"Well after you and Peter were sent to the tower, all of us fought and eventually, we ended The Shredder" Steve says proudly, wait... he's dead?

"So the Shredders dead?" I asked shocked,

"Well Master Splinter killed him, but his goons got away so who knows if the foot clan is really gone for good" Donnie explains,

"Thank you guys for saving me" I thank everyone,

"Hey it wasn't just them kid" I hear a voice behind everyone, then they step forward........no way!

"LOGAN!" I shout and pull him into a hug, he chuckles

"Nice to see ya too kid" he pulls out and the rest of the X-Men walk in,

"You guys to!?" I asked shocked that they were here,

"Of course (y/n), we couldn't let you suffer there" Storm says and hugs me, then Jean, Scott and the then Professor, 

"Thank you guys so much, all of you, if it wasn't for you i'd probably be dead" I say through teary eyes,

"Don't say that (y/n)" Peter speaks up, I smiles and hug him, 'Thank god he's ok too' 

"Ok guys let (y/n) rest for a while, I have to asses her anyway" Bruce says and shoos everyone out, I chuckle as they all groan and say goodbye, 

"Hey Bruce" 

"Yes"

"H-how long was I out?"

"4 weeks" my eyes widen, 'that long!?" 

"Wow that long?" 

"Yeah I know, by looking at your results your're fine and should make a healthy recovery, just don't strain yourself, you took a lot of damage" he says and puts a hand on my shoulder giving me a friendly smile, I smile back and thank him,

"Ok i'll let you rest, see ya later (y/n)" 

"Yeah see ya later" he walks out and I lay back on the bed, just glad to be safe and sound with the people who love and care for me.....
