(Y/n)'s POV
I'm standing outside my new school with April and Casey since they go here, I've never really went to school because of my ability, I'm afraid people will think I'm a freak and pick on me, I gulp as we walk into the school,
"So we'll see you at lunch bye" April says as she walks away with Casey, I walk to the front office
"Hello, how may I be of service?" the lady asks nicely
"Hi I'm (y/n) Logan, I'm new here" she smiles and hands me a sheet of paper,
"Oh here you go this is your timetable, I'll get one of your classmates to show you around, you can wait over there" she points to the couches, I thank her and sit down soon a girl with brown hair and brown eyes walks up to me with a smile on her face,
"Are you (y/n)?" she asks, I nod
"Hi my names Patrice it's nice to meet you" she says in an Irish accent and shakes my hand,
"Hi it's nice to meet you to"
"Can I see your timetable" I nod and hand it to her, she smiles
"Looks like we're in all the same classes together, first we have maths come on" she hands me back my timetable and we walk to our class,
"So where you from?" she asks
"I'm from California, I'm guessing your're from Ireland" I say chuckling, she laughs
"Yeah what gave it away?" she says sarcasticly and I chuckle,
"So what made you move here?" she asks I think up a lie
"My dad always loved New York so we moved here which I didn't really mind, and you?"
"Well my folks died and I just recently moved in with my Granada"
"I'm so sorry" I say feeling guilty, she smiles
"Naw it's ok you didn't know, oh look we're here" we walk into the classroom and everyone stares at me,
"Oh you must be our new student, class this is (y/n) Logan, I'm Mrs Coyle it's lovely to have you here"
"Thank you Mrs" I say shyly she smiles
"Ok you can sit beside Patrice" I nod and sit beside her at the back she smiles and I smile back, the rest of the lesson was pretty boring, the bell rang and we headed to out next class; English Patrice and I were walking to English when a girl jumped on Patrice's back almost causing her to fall,
"Jeez Megan ye scared the shit outta me" the girl called Megan laughed,
"That was the whole point" she turns to me "Hi my names Megan it's nice to meet you (y/n)"
"It's nice to meet you too" I say polity she smiles
"Hey (y/n) you wanna sit with us at lunch?" Patrice asks
"I would love to but I already said I would sit with my two friends" she looked disappointed
"Oh that's ok, who are they?" she asks
"April O'Neil and Casey Jones"
"Oh I know those two they're a year older than us, they're really nice people" she says I nod in agreement and we continue to walk to English
~Time skip~
It's lunch and I'm sitting with April and Casey,
"So did you make any new friends?" April asked I nod
"Yeah two actually" she smiles
"Really? that's great what's their names?"
"Patrice and Megan"
"Oh I know them, yeah they're pretty cool" Casey says I look at Patrice who is sitting with her group of friends she smiles and waves and I wave back, the group consists of four girls and four guys, lunch soon ended I said goodbye to Casey and April and walked over to Patrice,
"Hey" I say she turns around and smiles
"Hey (y/n) ready for science?" she asks and I nod
"Hey Patrice who's this?" a girl asks which grabs everyone in the groups attention,
"Guys this is (y/n), (y/n) this is Leah, Laura, Mike, Sam, Fred and Caleb" she introduced us,
"Oh yeah your're the new kid right?" Leah asks, I nod and she smiles
"Well it was great meeting you but we gotta get to class bye" I wave goodbye to them, Patrice, Megan and I head to science.
~Time skip~
School finally ended, I walk out of school with Patrice and Megan but wait for April and Casey at the gate,
"We'll see you tomorrow (y/n)" Megan calls out,
"Here's our numbers in case you wanna hang out sometime" Patrice says and hands me a piece of paper, I smile
"Thanks I'll see you guys tomorrow" they wave goodbye and both get into a black SUV there was a man standing out side of it who looked strangely familiar, I can't see him very well so I can't place just who he is, I feel a tap on my shoulder
"Hey (y/n) ready to go home?" April asks, I nod and we walk home, I'm actually looking forward to school tomorrow...........
