Lucy was sitting on the side of an infirmary bed, Porlysucia sitting on her rolling chair in front of her, wrapping her scraped, bleeding forearm with bandages.
"I can't do much else for the bruise on your stomach, but your other wounds should heal within the week." Porlysucia said, helping Lucy stand up.
Porlysucia lifted Lucy's shirt, revealing purple and blue bruise the size of a book, tainting the skin of the middle of her stomach.
She cringed, not liking the color. Then, she got up and grabbed a small bottle filled with some type of liquid light blue substance and some more bandages.
Porlysucia then re-lifted her shirt, having Lucy hold it up, then rubbed the substance over the blonde's bruised stomach.
Lucy was silent, staring down with a slightly frustrated look.
"What? You look sick." Porlysucia asked as she began wrapping Lucy's stomach in bandages.
"...Something doesn't feel right. Do you know what it is?" Lucy asked, looking at the pink haired woman.
"No." She finished wrapping her stomach and pinned the end of the bandages on.
"If you wanna know, find out yourself." Porlysucia gave her a harsh pat on the stomach, making Lucy grunt in pain.
"The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. You have be ready for that." She folded her arms.
"Huh?" Lucy's eyes widened.
"Now, get out. I got work to do." She shooed, pushing Lucy out.
Lucy stood there for a bit, staring at the closed infirmary door for a minute or two.
'Porlysucia-san. She's wise. Too wise. She must've been through a lot.' Lucy thought, her eyes softening as her lips curved into a frown.
Lucy just turned and began walking through the hallways, the night sky visible through the window.
The bright moon caught her eye. She stopped walking and turned her head, looking out of the window and up at the night sky.
The stars twinkled brightly, the moon glowing.
"The world..."
"...has changed."

A 5 year old Princess Lucy was happily running through the halls of the castle, her arms out as she ran.
Suddenly, a strong pair of hands picked her up.
"Gotcha!" Jude Heartfilia chuckled, throwing little Lucy into the air.
"Humph! You always ruin my fun, Otou-san." Lucy pouted, crossing her arms.
"You need to go train, Lucy!" He said, carrying her down the hall.
"Eeehh?! But I trained yesterday! And the day before that!" Lucy exclaimed.
"You need to train more! I promise you'll have the day to have fun tomorrow." He smiled, arriving at the castle gardens.
Jude put Lucy down, setting her on her feet.
"Why do I have to train, Daddy?" Little Lucy asked, tilting her head.
Jude smiled warmly, kneeling down and putting his hand on the crown of Lucy's head.
"Because the monsters are coming." He said.
"Okay! I'll do it for you, Daddy!" Little Lucy grinned.
Jude chuckled, grinning as well.
"That's my princess."
