Everyone was giving it everything they had.

And it was working.

The Omni was slowing down, and wasn't striking as frequently. Their hope was growing, as was Lucy's power.

The blonde resumed laying in the infirmary, motionless. Until...

Her eye twitched.

By now, everyone was covered in bruises and scratches, but so far, no fatal injuries.

After Natsu helped Gray fire a rocket launcher, he realized something.

"Dad!! What about Lucy?!" He exclaimed, looking back at his father, who quickly knew what to do.

"Wendy, go with Porlysucia and take Lucy's body to the basement!!" Igneel shouted.

"That won't be necessary."

And there she was.

Walking with her hands in fists. Her incredibly long blonde hair being pushed by the wind. She raised her head, her chocolate brown eyes fierce.

Everyone was completely dumbstruck.

Did this girl just come back from the dead?!

"Luce!!" Natsu's face lit up, happy tears gathering in his eyes.

She smiled at him as she stopped next to Igneel.

"Take this." Lucy handed him a golden pendant.

"Use it on every weapon you have. It'll provide some helpful backup." Lucy smiled.

"Wait, you're going to fight in your condition?! That's suicide!" Wendy exclaimed with teary eyes.

Lucy 'humph'ed as she began walked towards the Omni. The wind blew. All of her bandages came loose, and blew off in the wind. Scars of all shapes and sizes covered her porcelain skin. Over her right eye, a thick, ragged scar ran from her under eye to right under her eyebrow. It almost resembled a flame of sorts.

"I cheated death once." She said, her fists engulfed in golden light.

Her right eye opened, revealing a golden orb with a slit in the place of a pupil.

"Who says I can't do it again?" Lucy smirked, getting into her battle stance.

The Omni noticed her, roaring furiously.

"Tragic." She snapped sacastically, as if it was child whining.

Lucy rocketed off the ground, flying at it.

She slammed her might glowing fist into its chest. It's iron-looking armor shattered to pieces.

"IGNEEL!!"

Igneel fired 5 rocket launchers, all of them hitting it's weak torso.

It stumbled back, but still mustered a strong swing at Lucy, who grabbed its hand and flipped it over her head, and onto its back on the ground; using a wrestling move she taught Erza.

Lucy landed on the concrete near Natsu with ease.

"Could I borrow that?" Lucy asked with a sweet smile, pointing to his AK-47 and belt full of grenades.

"Sure thing, Luce!" He handed both to her.

She nodded in appreciation and zoomed back over to the grumbling Omni.

She climbed up on it, but as she did, it began making its way onto its feet. She clung to a loose piece of it's shattered armor.

"Don't fire!!" Silver ordered, everyone lowering their weapons.

The Omni roared and started trying to swat Lucy off of it like a bug of sorts.

Lucy quickly and skillfully climbed up it. She then pried its mouth open, holding its upper jaw open with one hand, while her feet took care of the lower jaw.

She then used the AK-47 to shoot the inside of its mouth non-stop. It roared and desperately tried to crush her, but to no avail.

After she used up all of the bullets, she then pulled the clips off of the grenades one by one; and one by one, threw them down it's throat.

Knowing it was time to back off, Lucy tossed the AK-47 onto its tongue before jumping down and grabbing Wendy, taking her into a protective hug.

All of the grenades went off inside of it, and blew its entire torso to smithereens. Harsh winds and dusty, residue clouds blew through the air as the monster fell, defeated.

Wendy opened her eyes, darkness and Lucy's stomach being the first and only things she saw. But...then she saw something else.

Blood.

A lot of it.
