"Lisanna? Strattus? There's no possible way she could know Lucy. They've never even interacted before this, right?" Igneel's nose crinkled in confusion.

"Luce won't tell me anything." Natsu said, looking down.

"I'm sure it's not because she doesn't trust you. It's most likely just a private matter or something." Silver reassured him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"So private that she can't even tell Natsu? That's defiantly more then a just a 'private matter'." Gray folded his arms.

Natsu's eyebrows furrowed, worry and frustration clouding his eyes.

'What can't you tell me, Luce?'

Lucy sat on a chair next to the window of the infirmary, hugging her knees to her chest as she watched the rain clearing from the sky outside.

"You can't hide it forever." Porlysucia commented, breaking the silence in the room.

"I don't intend to." Lucy replied, not taking her eyes off of beyond the window.

"I seriously doubt that." Porlysucia scoffed, walking over and standing next to the window, in front of Lucy's sitting figure.

"You're a smart girl, Lucy. You know very well what'll happen when they find out." Porlysucia folded her arms.

Lucy stayed silent, causing Porlysucia to sigh and sit down on the bed nearest to the window.

"You care about him, don't you?" The doctor questioned.

"...Don't ask when you know the answer." Lucy said after a second of silence.

"Do you really?"

"Stop questioning it!! All this week it's only been question after question! I'm tired of it! It's like no one around here trusts me!!" Lucy snapped, turning her head and glaring at her with fierce eyes.

Porlysucia just stared blankly at her, looking straight at her golden snake-like right eye.

"What?" Lucy asked, annoyed.

"Your eye." Porlysucia stated.

"What about it?" Lucy folded her arms.

"Nothing. But, I'm sure having that eye, and scar, is causing some distraction, right?" Porlysucia raised an eyebrow.

"More or less." The blonde averted her eyes.

"Then let's make a different distraction." Porlysucia stood and walked over to her desk.

She opened the top drawer, reaching in. Lucy, being the curious blonde she is, walked over to see what she was pulling out.

It was an eyepatch. It was all black, three strings attached to it on all three corners. It had an interesting shape, but it looked soft.

"Here. Put it on." Porlysucia held it out to her.

Lucy hesitantly took it, then just stared at it in her hand.

"What do I do with this?" She asked, inspecting it curiously.

"It's called an eyepatch." Porlysucia informed, remembering her minimal knowledge of the new era she woke up to.

"Why would anyone want to patch their eye?"

Porlysucia sighed, taking the eyepatch from her grasp and turning her around.

After carefully placing it and skillfully tying it in place, she turned Lucy back around so she was facing her. She fixed its position, making it fit comfortably over her right eye.

"There. It's a good fit, too. Covers the scar perfectly." Porlysucia slightly smiled.

Lucy's eye lit up.

"You smiled!!!"

Her sudden outburst startled the doctor, her smile disappearing.

"W-What?!" She stuttered, confused.

"You finally, finally smiled!! Yay~!!!" Lucy cheered, throwing her arms around Porlysucia and squeezing.

"Calm yourself. You want someone to hear you?" Porlysucia shushed her.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Lucy's excitement faded, a frown returning to her face.

"Guess I should get going now, then." Lucy walked over to the window, pushing it open with ease.

The blonde climbed up so she was standing on the windowsill. The wind blew in through the open window.

"Thank you, Porlysucia." Lucy thanked, looking back at the doctor with a smile.

"I...I'm sorry it had to end like this." Porlysucia choked out her words, frowning.

Lucy's smile disappeared.

"Me too."

Pushing off the sill, she flew out of the window, disappearing in the forests down below.

Porlysucia continued to stare at the open window with a frown. Only the sound of the curtains tousling heard.

She glanced at the envelope on her desk. A neat golden star stamp holding it shut.

"She sure is cruel for a princess."
