Two blue lines stared straight back at me without any remorse. My heart was thumping like a runaway train. Pregnant. How could this happened? Of all the million chances, this thing happened to me. I do not sleep around, my one and only sexual encounter was with Alec that one time. He did not even go all the way or finish what we have started. As soon as he realized that I was a virgin he pulled out of me. So how in the world did I end up pregnant? I groaned in frustration.
My doctor confirmed my pregnancy and although I was frightened of the unknown, I was also excited. If all things go through as planned, I will be holding my baby in another eight months.
I walked out of my doctor's office strangely calm. Right now I only need to figure out how to break the news to my baby's father. Alec.
