Every night I would whisper your name,
Hoping you’d visit me in my dreams.
And sometimes, just for a while,
You would come with your gentle smile.
You’d tell me you’re always near,
That you will never disappear.
You’d hold my hand and wipe my tears,
And calm my deepest, darkest fears.
