I glanced across the street from my window, the moon sparkling in the night sky. It was 2am and I still couldn't get to sleep. Something was just playing on my mind and I couldn't figure out what it was.
I crept into the hallway looking round trying to get my vision back. My big feet clonked down stairs. Everyone said I had big feet, but I had the same as them. I just looked liked I had bigger.
I opened the fridge ever so quietly and I cause the glimpse of darkness in the fridge. Oh my god, I have finally done it. I have seen the fridge light on for the first time. That's amazing! I quickly grabbed a yogurt and headed up to bed.

I walked into school with my thick brown hair tied into a messy bun. I wore my yellow dress with a black jacket. I looked around for Ivy, but there was still milkshakes stacked in the fridges. I ran up to the library and sat down with my Geography book. I didn't do my homework in time so this was my only choice. Georgraphy was definatley up there with what i need to revise for.I began to read the small words on the paper when a tall body caught my eye. I slowly looked up. The Boy Across The Street. I kept my head low and carried on looking.
His light brown hair stuck up like yesterday, his lip ring still on. He had a grey jacket on with a white t-shirt underneath, also black jeans. I looked at the Geography section. He looked down at me, so I looked down at my book.
"Hey, is that a Geography book?" He said pointing at my book. I nodded and looked how he put his hands in his jean pockets. "Can I have a look" he continued. I nodded and stiffened. I didn't move anything. He came to sit next to me. "You don't talk much, do you?" He sat closer now looking at the book.
Calm...
"No, not really," I said now looking at the book trying not to look at him directly. His eyes where like madusa, if you look at him, you instantly turn to stone.
"What's your name?" He was looking at me now, not concentrating on the book.
"Leora , yours?" I said feeling a bit uncomfortable. I tried to concentrate on the book but he kept distracting me.
"Isaac Hunter," he moved a little closer. I was praying for this moment to last and at the same time, I wanted it to me midnight so i could run away and leave the Geography book in my tracks.
The bell rang and we sat there looking at each other. I moved my body to the right away from him. I got my bag and stood up, still as a statue.
"I'm gonna go, I've got Geography with Mr Frenmus, he's really picky with time," I half shouted for some reason, I got really nervous.
As I walked out the library door I heard him call. "Bye Leora!"

I walked to my lonely seat and thought about what just happened.
Isaac. Nice name. His hair must be really fluffy.
I smiled at the thought.
"Leora, eyes on me, 1, 2 , 3 " Mr Frenmus started to sing and dance. I looked away to see Isaac across the classroom. I poked Ivy in the back with my pencil.
"Him, he's the new kid," I whispered slightly leaning over. As i said the words my cheeks turned a rosey colour.
"Does he fancy you?" She looked back and grinned. She always knew when the good time to tease me. Others do it and i just cannot be bothered.
"Why would he?" I leaned back and sighed.

It was lunch and I couldn't find Ivy anywhere. She kept disappearing. Like a mouse hidding from the cat. I looked round for a spare seat but the only spare seat was a lonely table. Nothing nor no one was on it. I walked over like a was suppose to meet with someone. I unwrapped my tuna sandwich and quietly read while eating. 2 of my favorite things combined into 1. I scanned the words from the paper. I loved this book it was one off the shelf from the library.
Suddenly, I felt the vibration of the table. I looked up to see Isaac again. He sat down next to me unwrapping his ham sandwich.
"Hey, do you need something?" I said noticing it sounded much nicer in my head as planned.
"No, just no where to sit. Is it okay if I sit here?" He said grabbing his bag ready to make a run for it.
"NO! No, it's just nothing. It's fine," I swiftly carried on getting involved in my book again. 'The bushes rustled as the wind crept past them. My hands floating in to the soft sounds of the forest'
"Oh, hi person. I am Ivy, Leora's friend," I looked up from my book to see Ivy staring back down at Isaac .
He looked up at her and replied,
"Hey, I'm Isaac I met Leora this morning," he smiled and stood up. "I best be going, " he picked his bag up and went. It was he was drifting away out of everyones reach.
"So that's him," she said grinning as she sat next to me. Unraveling her sandwich.
"Yeah, it's really awkward though. He keeps coming to talk but I don't know what to say. What do I do?" I replied slipping my book mark in my book then slotting it back inside my bag.
"Be yourself, stop restricting yourself on what to say and do. It's easy , just talk to him like you talk to me." She explained making it sound so simple.
"I can't it's just weird," I groan, lossage of importance by the minute.
"Stop over thinking and just do!" She shouted at me.
It's easier said than done...
