|| Chapter 22 ||

"Okay." Ivy said sitting on the swing next to me.
We where at the park after school. Ivy needed to tell me something. I had a strange feeling I already knew what it was about.
"Okay, so I like Levi." She said dropping her head in her hands.
"Has anything happened?" I asked.
"No, that's the problem. I like him. I like him so much." She looked up.
"Well, if he says anything I'll tell you." I said trying to reassure her.
"I doubt it, he doesn't show his emotions like Isaac does. I know he likes you, Leora. Isaac 'like' like you" she said groaning.
"No he doesn't. We are just friends, Ivy." I said.
Why would he like me? I am invisible...

We sat there for a minute gently swinging back and forward.
Isaac doesn't like me. Why would he?

It was school and I had already done my make up and my outfit. It was Friday. Finally!
I walked out the door the street the pavement. My boots clonked against the ground. My hair was tied back into Plats. I looked up and saw Isaac across the road. I kept my head down and kept walking. Before I knew it I felt hands on my waist pulling me back onto a muscly chest.
"Hey SweetCheeks." He smiled. We where so close touching. We pulled away and walked side by side. He tugged onto his loose black backpack. "So what you doing after school?" He asked.
"Nothing just at home," I replied.
"Do you want to come over? To mine"
What?!
"Ugh, yeah. To do what?"
He smiled. "Hang out,"
We walked in silence. Sometimes our arms nudged together and I blushed and guttered away.

We walked into the doors of school and we parted. I travelled over to my locker and opened it.
"Leora," a low voice said behind my locker door. I closed it slightly to see Levi. His arm leaning again the other lockers.
"Yep," I said while taking out the books I needed and shut it afterwards.
"I've got to tell you something, but you can't tell Ivy." He was serious now.
"What is it?"
Is this what Ivy wants to hear?
"I think I like her, like a lot. She's just amazing. But I don't know what to do." He said moaning.
"Tell her, but make it special." I Said walking to class.
"I'll try!" He shouts after me.

I walk into class and everyone is looking at me. Geography again. I sat down and took out my books. Olivia at the back twirling her hair through 2 fingers. Isaac was already sat behind me. I kept my head down, and didn't intend to bring it up through out the lesson.

The lesson ended out as Mr Frenmus telling us how important having your own pen with you. Olivia got told off for it and she just sat back and rolled her eyes.

I walked out of class and to my locker. I exchanged books and closed the metal door behind me.
"So, coming to mine?" Isaac appeared from behind me.
"Yeah," I said more confident than I had expected.
We walked to his car and got in.
The drive was silent as always, no taking. This time it was awkward.

We got out and we went to the front door. The breeze of warm hit me. I shivered. We stepped in and up to his room. I sat down on his sofa and opened up my reading book. It was so interesting. I felt Isaac plonk down next to me.
"I heard Levi liked Ivy," He said starting the convocation.
"How did you know?" I said putting my book down.
"He told me," he said. He put his arm behind me and leant in.
"So is he going to tell her?" I asked excited.
"Yeah, soon he said." He smiled, his lip ring shined.
"That's amazing, aww. I feel happy for them," I said looking in his eyes.
"Yeah," he broke his smile and leant back and pulled me with him. We laid side by side on his sofa. Very close now.
"Your beautiful," I out one hand on the side on my face. I blushed and looked away. He took his hand away and pulled me in for a hug. We laid there hugging one another.
Does he like me?
Was Ivy right?
No... It's not possible.
I pulled away from the hug and folded my arms around myself. He smiled and snuggled into place so he was comfortable.

We ended up talking about his family's business and that they where lawyers and they weren't home most of the time. We talked about Levis and Ivy's future.

I went home in Isaacs car, he offered to drive me home. When i got in Ivy stood in my hallway smiling.
"I got Starbucks!"
