|| Chapter 13 ||

Monday came, and there was still no talking to Isaac. I couldn't get him off of my mind. It was like a lost memory trying to figure its way back into your life.
I might of hurt his feelings! I hope he is okay. I should talk to him, yeah. No, Olivia will have a hissy fit.
The thoughts played through my mind as I walked to school, every step closer to school, every step closer to guilt.

I arrived at school late so I rushed to class. History, yay! Everyone in class says they hate it, including the teacher, but I think they are both quite nice.
"So today we will be learning about World War 1. So that means, I don't want any messing about because this was a time people died." Miss Roberts spoke. I sat down in my seat keeping my head down, not noticing Isaac was there, staring at me.

Throughout the lesson, Olivia was twirling, flipping her hair into the person behind hers face. I did truly feel sorry for them, you dont know how much products she has put in there.

My hands would stop shaking when I held the pen in my hand, constant.
The lesson ended with homework due in after the Halloween half term. I filled it into my note book and gathered my stuff while students filed out of the classroom.
"Leora, can we talk?" A low voice from behind me said.

"No, we can't" I knew it was Isaac, my back still facing him, packing away my books and pens.

"Can you at least tell me why!" He got a bit angry now, but still gentle.

"No, Isaac"

"Why?!" He asked.

"Because..." I hesitated.

"Because what?"

"If I say it would leave me and my father in pieces." I looked down not moving to face him.

"I will not say anything," he fitted his hand on my arm. Shivers and elecricity shot through my body.

"Oli-" I hesitated but carried on, "Olivia, she said if I don't stay away from you, she'll make her dad fire my dad which is my dads boss," I gasped. Well that was a mouth full.
He looked angry and sad, I've told him now, no going back.

"Olivia? Why?" He looked confused now, his mood kept changing.

"I don't know, oh wait she likes you!" God, has he not realized.

"She is a soulless brat, she obviously can't make her dad fire your dad, she is not in control of that!" He was now mad.
Make up his mind, what mood is he in?!

"I am sorry I have ignored you for a couple days... But what are we soppost to do, she'll see us and tell her slave parent and get my dad fired?!"

"I'll handle it, don't worry, sweet cheeks." He smiled and hugged me, so I hugged him back. He felt so walm while I was so cold.
We walked out the class room and spotted Ivy looking right at us. What has she done? She walked down the hallway and met her half way.

"Soo... Did you tell him?" She looked at me and expected him not to hear.

"Yeah," he said smiling ,"I'll handle it." He looked down at me.

"Anyway have you seen Levi? We where soppost to be working on the Fanfic," she now looked concentrated on the halls trying to see if he hid within the people.

"Levi?" Isaac asked.

"It's her older booyyfriend," I joked, giggling along the way.

"He's not my boyfriend, leora! Just my fanfic buddy!" She put her hands on her hips looking mad. I laughed and so did Isaac. She grumbled and headed into the opposite direction.

"So are we still on for next week, Halloween?" He walked me home. The day got so stressful. Holding it in, not talking to him for about 4 or 5 days. I didn't know how hard it would be.

"Sure!" I smiled and tugged onto my bag a little more.

"Great, I'll sort things out with Olivia. She will have strops and when she does it's like she is a big monster destroying every spec that lives," he chuckled and looked down.

Cute, i thought.

We walked the rest of the way home quiet, not saying a word. It was good, I got to think about him instead of talking.
