Julie and Brendan are out on a blind date together. They are sitting at a local cafe, drinking a cup of coffee and eating dessert. Although they do not know each other well, the evening is progressing rather well. Suddenly, a waiter drops an entire tray of coffee and desserts on the floor -- right next to them. Both of them are covered in pieces of cake. The evening continues as ...

I gasped in horror at the sight of my dress. It was brand new just for the occasion and now it was ruined! I glared at the waiter, not wanting to say anything while I was consumed in rage. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. When I opened them, I was still covered in cake and icing. I smiled at Brendan. "Thank you for the lovely evening," I said, trying to sound sincere, but failing. "But I best be going. If I soak this soon enough, maybe it won't stain." I got up and left the table and rushed out the door. I didn't make the best impression and he wasn't really my type. At least that's what I told myself to assure myself I did the right thing. I never saw him again.
