There was rustling behind them. They turned around quickly to see the corn moving, but no one was there. They went to turn back to the path and a masked person jumped out. They ran for dear life, getting only deeper into the maze. They were lost and scared, running to find a way out, but where they ended up, was not where they wanted to be. A dead end laid ahead of the group. They spun around and the masked person was standing there. They backed into the corn, trying to keep their balance as the person approached.
Jimbalia spoke up, “who are you? What do you want?”
Ciboulette chimed in, “yeah. Back off!”
The person reached up to where the mask rested on his shoulders and placed his hand on it to pull it off. They were shocked when the mask was lifted and they all recognized the face.
