When Carter Bentley was only 16 she got pregnant from a boy, she thought she loved. After being abandoned by the father of her baby, she decided to face parenthood alone. With the help of her mother, she made it through the nine months of pregnancy and the birth of her daughter, Samantha.
After months of staying at home with Samantha, Carter is ready to go back to school at only 17 as a teenage mother. Carter struggles with the idea of facing everyone she knows at school, including Samantha's father. Although she is very proud of herself and her daughter, Samantha. She doesn't want to be judged by people who know about her Samantha.
Carter decides to start fresh with her daughter, she moves to England, just her and Samantha. Carter hopes to finish school and start new with Samantha. With the help of her mother and grandpa, she is able to afford a house for her and Samantha, her education, Samantha's daycare and food, toys, and clothing until Carter graduates and can find a job to support her and Samantha on her own.
