Kaleb's POV:
Huffing out in annoyance, I go to the only place that I can think of...... The one and only, Melody Quinn: my booty call.
On the way there, I replay Claudia and my kiss we shared. She seemed so insecure and scared of everything. Each time I raised my hand to stretch or scratch my neck, she'd flinch, or shut her eyes, as if I'm going to hit her.
Claudia was driving me insane. I feel like I have no control over myself when I was around her, which was definitely not normal.
Girls threw themselves at me all the time, and some was definitely more curvaceous and had more to them than Claudia, but for some reason, she had me going crazy over her.
Knocking on the door impatiently, the door bursts open with a tired looking Melody.
"Kaleb!? What are you-" cutting her off, I smash my lips to hers roughly. Instantly responding, she kisses me at the same pace, as we walk to her room without breaking the heated kiss at all.
"Mmmm! Slow-down!" Melody protests, as her lips are still attached to mine. I trail the kisses down her neck as her hands take through my hair, tugging slightly.
We hit the foot of her bed and I pushed us on, never once breaking the contact of our lips as she moans into my mouth.
***
Being blinded from the sunlight that's seeping through Melody's curtains, I open my eyes and wait for my sight to adjust to the lighting.
Turning my head to the side, I see Melody still fast asleep besides me, as she clings to my arm as if it's her life. Looking besides Melody, the clock shows me it's 6:40am.
Getting out of bed carefully not to wake Melody up, I throw my shirt over my head, walking across her room and into her joint bathroom.
My hands grip her sink, staring at my reflection. Guilt. Guilt stared back at me.
Flashback:
Our lips moved fast, our tongues intertwined. My hands traced her sides, down to her legs, then between her thighs.
Claudia. Claudia entered my mind, and I pulled away instantly.
The taste of Melody was like poison on my lips, leaving a bitter aftertaste.
I shuffled off and away from Melody.
"Kaleb? What's wrong?" She squeaks, crawling towards me.
"Nothing. I'm sorry that happened." I muttered, rubbing my temples.
"We didn't finish," she says, wrapping her hands around my neck as she rests her chin on my right shoulder.
"Not tonight." Was all I said before getting into Melody's bed.
She follows suit.
Claudia Jones. She clouded my thoughts the whole night, and I couldn't muster up the strength to hold Melody.
Flashback Over:
============
Walking into first period, I plop into my seat besides Claudia.
I can tell she's still shocked from our heated makeout session last night, clearly making things awkward.
I know that Melody wants something more with me. She makes it obvious. We've had our situation settled for 2 years now, and I don't plan on making her more than entertainment purposes. Nothing more, nothing less.
Looking to my side, I she Claudia shifting in her seat uncomfortably as she tries to listen to Ms.Karen.
Secretly, I slide a note to her, and her eyes widen to the size of watermelons.
"I'm going to kill you!" She sneers before huffing and puffing as her adorable cheeks turn a shade of red.

On my way to lunch, I spot Claudia, and as if on cue she looks my way. As our gaze catches eachother, she looks away quickly, closing her locker.
Feeling annoyed, I take big strides walking towards her. When I reach Claudia, and she's in arms reach, I pull her forearm, and drag her down the hallways with me, obviously catching her off guard.
"Owww, Kaleb you're hurting me! Kaleb! Let me go! Kaleb!" Claudia shouts but I continue walking towards the schools exit, with Claudia's arms still in my tight grasp. "Kaleb! Do you hear me!? Let me go!" Claudia tries again, but this time she forcefully moves her arm as she runs to keep up to my pace.
Walking to the football court and under the bleachers, I let go of Claudia's arm. As soon as I let her arms go, she starts rubbing her arm looking up at me with fear? Anger? Oh well, I don't really care, I thought, staring back at her 5'3 figure.
"What do you want!?" She shouts and I'm taken aback at her sudden outburst.
"You're making it obvious that there's something between us," I blurted, crossing my arms across my chest. I was looking for a reason. Any reason to talk to her.
"You kissed me!" She corrects. Knowing that she was right, I pushed myself off of the pole and slowly walked towards her.
"And you kissed back," I smirked. Realization sunk in and Claudia's cheeks turned red once again.
"B-but... but you started it!" She sneered, glaring at me.
"I can do it again." My voice was low and raspy just as I neared her. She had now backed into the bleachers.
My arms went on either side of her head as we both stare at each other, not breaking eye contact.
I can hear her breath hitch in her throat, as I smirked. I liked having this effect on her. I enjoyed her being nervous around me.
Slowly, I looked down at her luscious lips and then back at her eyes. I then slowly began to close the gap between us.
"I like knowing you're nervous around me," I whispered. By now, I could feel her minty breath graze my lips.
"Kaleb? What are you doing with that?" Melody's high pitched voice pops in, and I back away, still smirking.
"Nothing," I smiled, pulling myself away from Claudia. For some reason, I was curious to know if she gets jealous or if she simply cares when I talk to other girls.
"Is this rat bothering you baby?" Melody giggles with her fake laugh ringing through my ears, almost exploding my ear drums.
"She's a nobody." I said, putting my arms around Melody's shoulders and we leave Claudia under the bleachers as we head to the field.
