Chapter three: Ditching

When the last bell rings for the day, Instead of going home and chilling on my couch I am stuck still at school until the cafeteria is clean. Oh and better yet I am stuck with Sarah, Mike and James. I grab my stuff and walk down to the cafeteria. When I get in i see that I'm going to be here pretty late...

"Hey Kris" James calls

I hate when people call me Kris . Wait he is the only one that calls me Kris!

"Staaaap it don't call me that!" I call back

He picks up a cupcake and walks over to me

"You know this cupcake is still good" He says as he looks at the cupcake

"Ewwwwww gross!!!" I shout.

He takes the cupcake and is about to bite it but I smack it out of his hand

"Kristin!!!!!!" He picks up the cupcake and shoves it into my face

"Nooo not again!!!!!!" I shout. Mike walks in and sees that I have cupcake on my face

"CUPCAKE FIGHT!!" He shouts

"NOOOOO MIKE!!!!!!" I scream

"awwwww"

James gets the garbage can and drags it over and starts to clean. I help and so does Mike. I am starting to wonder is Sarah is even going to come. Then she walks in

"So how is this cleaning going people??" Sarah sings

"It was better without you here!!!!" James mumbles

"Oh so you want me to leave!" Sarah sais all excited

"No Sarah just clean over there!!" I say angrily

Sarah walks to where i told her too and picks up cupcakes

"EWWWW this is sooo gross!!!!" Sarah sais in disgust

"Oh and people might have put them in their mouth too!!" James says

She screams and drops the cupcake she was holding. I fall to the ground laughing my head off

"That's it I'm out of here!!" Sarah shouts

We watch her leave. When she is gone Mike, James and I start to laugh. When we finally stop laughing I realize we haven't done anything. This place is still a mess

"Be right back guys!!" Mike shouts. He runs off

"UGH James I want to go now!" I say

"So lets go.."

"What? what do you mean"

"I mean Lets go..."

He walks to the window and unlocks it

No way I never ditch. Throwing cupcakes is the worst thing i have done in all my years of school. I am not ditching!!

"No James!!!" I say sternly

"Come on Kristin stop being a goody goody..."

"James no and also what about Mike?"

"He wont care" he laughs

"James I don't know??"

"It's now or never Kristin, we can hang out at my place."

"I - umm okay?"

"Come on hurry!!"

I grab my bag and run to the window. James helps me out then goes out the window and closes it

"wanna go to my place or..."

"Umm I want to see that new movie??"

"Which movie?"

"That one with the snow!!" I say

"Your going to have to be more specific, Frozen?"

"Yeah thats what its called!!" I laugh

"Let's go"

I have never gone to a movie with James. I don't know why I am so excited but I really am.

When we get to the movies we each order our popcorn and our drink

"Theater 3, enjoy your movie" The ticket person said

We both grab our 3D glasses and walk to theater 3

"Where do you want to sit?" James asks

"Uhhh in the back I think" We sit in the back row on the right side

The commercials are on for this new movie coming out

"What time is it?" I ask

"Umm 7:27"

"Okay thanks, Hey what do you think Mike did when he found out we left?" I ask

James laughs "Hmm him being Mike and all he probable thinks were playing hide and seek or something"

I start to laugh my head off

"Hey lady shut up!!" a little kid shouts in front of me

"Hey kid sh-" I stop myself. I am not going to fight with a 6 year old. The movie starts finally

"Finally" I say.

In the middle of the movie I decide it is very cute but it seems James is enjoying it more then I am... I reach over to grab my popcorn but it must have been James's popcorn cause his hand was in the popcorn too

"Oh sorry" I say

"No no its okay" he says

I look at him and he leans in and so do I until our lips lightly touch

wait a second I am kissing one of my best friends in a kids cartoon movie?!?!

I pull away "Uhh I gotta go!" I say

I get up and grab my stuff

"Oh yeah okay" James says

I wonder if he is as embarrassed as I am right now

Well that was weird
