Chapter seventeen: trouble

A doctor opened the ambulance door and wheeled me and James out of the truck

When I started moving I started to giggle because the ground was making the stretcher vibrate and it tickled my back

I got put in a room and I got on the bed.the room was completely white and made me feel like I was in a mental hospital

"Umm nurse?" I ask

"Yes darling" she replies

"Where is James?"

"He is in another room"

"Oh okay thanks"

The nurse starts wheeling me to the x-Ray room

"Kristin honey we are gonna need to call your mother and father" the nurse says

"Pfft no you don't" I say

"Kristin! Yes we do. I'm sure she is worried about you.."

I look down "she thought I was on a field trip.." I say

"Wait so you didn't get kidnapped... You planned this?!?!" She asks

"Yes, we all did.."

"Kristin!! This is terrible you should be ashamed of your self! Did James, Mike and Alice lie too?"

"Yeah" I say

"I need your phone number Kristin..... Now!" She says

"No I'm not giving you my phone number.." I say

"Kristin your mom and dad will find out eventually... May as well give me the number now"

I don't respond

"Kristin I will keep you here until you give it to me"

"You do that" I say

She sits me in front of the x-Ray door then walks away

I sit and look at people that go past. I see this one girl get wheeled over beside me and then her nurse leaves too

"Hey" she says

I look at her "hi" I say

I decided to say hi and not hey because I don't really want to talk right now. You should know that if I say hey you should keep talking to me if I say hi.... Shut up and go away... This girl obviously didn't understand that I don't want to talk to her

"Why are you here?" She asks

I decide to be nice because she is like nine..

"I got thrown against a wall and smacked my head open what about you?" I ask

"I... Don't remember... I got memory loss" she says

"Oh that's terrible..." I say

She looks down and looks really sad

"What's wrong?" I ask

"I don't even remember my mommy and daddy, they came into my room to see me and I didn't recognize them"

"You know what?"

"What?"

"You will soon enough and you're lucky! I wish I didn't remember how I hurt myself"

"Do you promise I will remember?" She asks

"Ummm I-" I start but she looks so sad and helpless

"I promise"

She smiles. "I was told my name is Gabriella but I don't like that...."

" You know what.... I have always wanted my name to be Gabriella" I say

She looks at me unsure

"If you don't like Gabriella what if I call you Gabby?" I suggest

"Gabby? Hmmm.... I like that"

"Then your new nickname is Gabby"

"Gabriella Morris we will see you now" the nurse says

"Call me Gabby!" She says proudly then looks at me and smiles

I wink at her then she wheels into the room

I sit alone again and watch people go by. Then I see a familiar face

"Kristin?" My mom says

"Mom?"

She runs over to me and hugs me. She squeezes me so tight that I can't breathe

"Kristin you lied to me! And because you did that you put four lives in danger!"

"Our lives WERE in danger if we didn't go too .Rose was after us..."

"Rose?"

"Billerio? Does that ring a bell"

My mom gasps "there still going on about that?"

"Yes..."

"But you still lied and you brought Mike, Alice and ugh James!"

Oh did I forget to mention my mom hates James

"Mom I have a question..."

She looks at me confused. "What Kristin?"

"Why do you hate James?" I ask

"He is a trouble maker! He made you lie, I know running away wasn't your idea Kristin!"

I don't respond because it wasn't my choice to go find Rose. It was James's idea.

"We're all alive aren't we?" I say

"Kristin your so..... Difficult. Why do you care if I like James or if I don't anyways"

"I don't" I say

"Okay Kristin...."

"I'll be back" I tell my mom

"No Kristin get back here!"

I turn my wheelchair and drive away. I don't know where I'm going. But I am... I am going!

( this whole chapter I didn't know what to write. I don't know how to work bold on this iPad so yeah. Next chapter will probably be better but I haven't updated in a while so here! This is what happens when You people rush perfection okay? Okay)
