Chapter sixteen: part one of Fighting Rose

Again I can't sleep. I guess I'm nervous to see Rose again

Sleeping under the stars was nice last night. I'm going to go sleep out there.

I go outside and pull out my phone. 9:00 hey I will call my mom

It rings for a while

"Hello mom?"

"Kristin!"

"Yeah mom"

"Oh my god I was so worried where are you?"

"On the school trip mom like I said"

"I know honey but where you never told me"

"I'm on a camping site"

"Oh are you having fun?"

"Yeah mom"

"Okay honey it's late go to bed love you night"

"Love you bye mom"

I hang up my phone and put it in my pocket

"You out here again? Why?"

"James you gotta stop scaring me!!!" I say

He comes and sits beside me

"Why can't you sleep?" James asks

"I think I'm nervous about ... Rose"

"We won't let her hurt you that's why we're all here"

"I know.... But what if"

"No... Don't what if"

I smile "James if Rose out smarts us which no offence won't be hard, then that's it I'm dead and since you're helping me you will all die too"

"We won't die" James says

"I feel guilty for dragging you three into this, I'm sorry I just-"

He cuts me off and kisses me and this time no one pulls away. It feels like we kissed for hours.

"How about if before we leave we come up with a plan guys?" James asks everyone

"Yeah Rose for sure has a plan... We have just go for it. That's not gonna work, sorry guys" I say

"How about two people distract and another two call the cops" Alice decides

"The cops need to come right when one of us is about to die..." I say

"Yeah like anyone is gonna volunteer to possibly die..." Mike says

"I will..." I say

"No Kristin you ....you can't" James argues

"James this is my fight and I'm not gonna let anyone else almost die because of me" I say

"Guys her uncles house is right down the street" Mike says

"Okay guys so James and Mike will distract and Alice will call the cops then I will pop out around three minutes after Alice calls okay guys lets go"

"Okay guys this is the house" Mike says

"I'm position guys" I say

Mike runs to the front of the house Alice runs to the back of the house and James waits until everyone is gone to say this

"Kristin are you nervous?"

"Yes a lot actually"

"Don't be you will be fine" James says

"What if the police don't come fast enough"

"They will"

"What if they don't"

"I will kill Rose before she can kill you"

"Well here it goes"

I turn to go to position then James grabs my hand and I turn around

He hugs me "Be carful Kristin" then he let's go and walks to his position where mike is.

I run to the back of the house. When i hear the doorbell rang I knew that this it it! This is what we were all waiting for.

I signal Alice to call the cops. She types in the numbers and puts the phone to her ear. I peek in the door and see Rose with a knife about to hurt Mike and James.

I burst in the back door and shout "Rose it's me you want. Remember" she starts to come towards me. She is running a full speed. She jumps on top of me and we both fall and I smack my head on the floor. I guess I blacked out because when I wake up I see that James, Mike and I are all tied up. "You guys"I whisper

"Kristin your awake" James and Mike both say

"Where is Alice.... And the police" I am surprised the police didn't come

"Rose caught them, the officer was dumb and came by himself and Rose caught Alice when she rushed in after you" James says

"What about the uncle?"

"I don't know..."

"Kristin why did you come in so early??" Mike asked

"I saw Rose, she was about to kill you guys" I say

I don't get a reply. I try to think of a way that I can get out of this mess.

THATS IT!!!!" I can call the cops again

"Guys let's try to call the cops again" I say

"We can try" James says

I try to grab my phone but by then it's too late. I see Rose coming downstairs

"James and Mike you get to watch your friend here die... That sounds fun right!!"

Rose takes a knife out of her bag she's holding and is about to hurt me when Anna and three police officers run in.

The police officers hand cuffs Rose and Anna un ties us.

"Where is your other friend and the other officer?'' Anna asks

"Oh yeah I'll go get them" I say

I run upstairs swing open the door. I don't just find Alice and the officer tied up, I see a large man guarding them. Oh god Roses uncle!!

He starts walking towards me

"JAMES, MIKE HELP ME NOW" I shout

When the man walks over to me he reaches over and locks the door.... This isn't gonna be good

He grabs my arm and throws me against the wall. I bang my head against the wall really hard

I hear Alice yelling for him to stop. I then hear James and Mike try to get in the room

"Kristin are you okay?" James shouts

I don't answer because my head hurts so much that I don't want to talk

I reach my hand to feel my head and when I move my hand away I see blood on my hand

I hit my head so hard it's bleeding

The man starts to walk towards me again

I manage to shout "Mike, James help me!"

"I'm getting help now" I hear James shout

The man ties me up and throws me beside Alice. I don't fight because my head hurts so bad I think I'm gonna pass out

"Kristin are you okay?" Alice asks

I shake my head and point to my head

She says something but I don't hear what

Where is James and Mike....

The big man starts to walk out of the room. He is going to go kill Mike and James.

"No" I mumble but no one hears me....

Then everything went black
