A/N: this one is for @ZowieDani Thanks for the request!

Since this is a high school themed story and Dark spent hardly any time with Mark when they were at that age, you are going to be a demon in this story. Lucky you :) And remember,Arioch/Arioch Asmodeus=Dark :) I hope you enjoy this.

DARK

God I hate school. I hate all of it. I'd gladly trade places with Mark any day any time. He doesn't train like me. He doesn't have to he's a person. The only thing that makes going to school alright are a few individuals I hang out with. Circe...I live with her, she's what humans would consider a sister according to Mark. Asura...my off and on boyfriend, and Pandora, she's older than me by  a hair, the others are a bit younger. There's (y/n)...but I don't see her that much on purpose. She wouldn't fit in with me, she's too...proper. I wish I was more proper...or even better yet, she was more loose and easygoing, but the odds of that happening are slim. Her caregivers are too strict. They make her train harder than any of us and do everything in a prim and proper manner. If she was anywhere near me and we were alone, she'd probably be dragged out of this school and forced to learn at home. We're that different. Too bad...

YOU

"I really like this guy Arioch." I was talking to one of my best friends,Lilu. She looked at me,a disgusted expression painted on her face. "Arioch? Are you kidding me? He's an idiot." I scowled. "I don't see how." I said, unraveling my sleeping bag. "Seriously? Have you seen him try to shapeshift? He's awful at it. He's like mentally 3 thousand years old." "Well, we're almost adults and we're having a sleepover..." She shot me a look. "You deserve better (y/n), besides won't your caregivers flip out?" I sighed. "Probably. They almost wouldn't let me come over here." She stopped unmaking her bed. "Why?" I shrugged. "They just really don't like letting me have fun. I don't know. They're all caught up in this training stuff. They want me to be perfect. They tell me what to do in every facet of my life." Lilu frowned. "Well they don't have to take it out on me." "They're not, trust me. They just don't like me having a life." My watch beeped at me. "See? That's my alarm...I have to go outside and practice conjuring for half an hour." Lilu stared at me. "Are you fucking serious?" "Do I LOOK serious?" I said, standing up. "This is what I mean. I'll be back..." I said, walking out of her room and outside into the night. I started practicing when a familiar sound caught me off guard. It was him...his voice, so smooth and melodic. I peeked over the fence. He was walking home with Circe. I didn't care what Lilu said, anyone who walks you somewhere because they care about you is sweet. "(Y/N)!" Lilu whispered harshly. I looked over. "I thought you were practicing?" she said, just loud enough for both Arioch and Circe to hear. They both looked over me and I blushed, ducking down below the fence. "I was." Lilu smirked. "I caught you looking. I'm telling you (y/n), stay away from him. He's an idiot. He's a blood demon and he's no good at it...he'll probably wind up being replaced before too long." I frowned deeply. "Don't say that! Being replaced is rare." Replacement is an awful thing. Only the most incompetent, useless demons are replaced. It's scary. You're just taken away by the creator and a new 'you' is brought back out. I have no idea what they do with the old you, but I imagine it's bad. Really bad. Nobody ever comes back from being replaced. "It's rare, but it's likely for him. Dude can't even shapeshift properly, come on he's like what? 16 thousand? He should be a master by now. He's already been out in the human world and he can barely handle being down here." I shot a dirty look at Lilu. "What is your issue with this dude?" "Um, hello, we're in like all of the same classes. I've seen enough of him. Isn't he gay anyway?" I raised an eyebrow. "No...he goes both ways." Lilu wrinkled her nose. "Aren't you worried about that?" I shook my head. "I actually think it's hot." Lilu rolled her eyes. Circe and Arioch passed by. "Hi." I said, shyly. Arioch, who towered over me, stood on his tiptoes and looked over the fence. "Hi (y/n)...what's up?" My heart raced. "Nothing...just spending time with Lilu." Lilu flipped her white hair over her shoulder, obviously disinterested. "Loser." she said. Arioch was taken aback a bit, but didn't say anything to her. "Um...how are you?" I asked. "I'm fine. Busy, but fine." "Busy being a loser." Lilu said under her breath. "Lilu!" I said, defensively. Arioch just gave me a hint of a smile. "It's nothing to worry about. I think little Lilu is just mad Asura is gay." Lilu's jaw dropped and I cracked up. "Fuck this, I'm going back inside." she said, turning on her heels. Circe walked through the fence. "Not without apologizing!" she said, tackling Lilu. I watched Arioch jump over the fence and separate the two. So strong...so perfect. "Knock it of Circe. Lillith will beat your ass if she finds out you're fighting again. Shit, she'll beat mine too. I'm supposed to be watching you." Arioch dragged Circe away from Lilu. "She'll pay in full eventually." she snapped. "Aww, Circe...I just have to know-cash or credit?" Circe fought against Arioch, but he was much bigger and stronger than her. "Stay. Stop. Is she worth it? I don't see any value in her. Just low self esteem and a distinct lack of...intelligence." I couldn't help but laugh. Lilu has been one of my best friends for thousands of years, but she had one bad attitude and I really didn't care for it. Lilu scowled at Arioch and Circe, then disappeared into the house. "Sorry...I know she's your friend and all...but she's pretty bitchy." I nodded. "She's just like that, it's not that big of a deal...I mean, not to me..." We just looked at each other. "So what? Are you two gonna kiss or something?" Circe said flippantly. I turned away and so did Arioch. There was so much sexual tension that even Circe could tell. "We should probably get going. Circe needs to use her punching bag or something." I could tell she was more than a bit angry. "It's cool that you have other demons to hang out with at home...I don't." Arioch rolled his eyes. "It's not as great as it appears. Circe is just fine, but Abraxas...that's another story." "Who?" "He's already done with school. He's an asshole. I advise that you stay far, far away from him." I laughed. We stared at each other again. "Well...I'll see you around." he said, waving to me. I coudn't find the right words so I just waved like a moron. I went inside to find Lilu pouting. "See? He's a jerk." "Lilu, you were being rude to him and Circe. I mean if you don't get along with him, fine, but why be mean to Circe? She's younger than the three of us." "She started it!" "She was sticking up for Arioch. Come on...it was sweet. She is a feisty little girl, though...I wonder if that's what he likes..." "(Y/N) give it a rest. It's hopeless. Your caregivers would never allow him to be near you and he knows it. Everyone does. Until you're 18 thousand at LEAST, say goodbye to Arioch." It hurt me that she said that, but only because she was right. He was a bit of a handful, he didn't make the greatest grades, he wasn't so great in training...but he was always so intriguing. He was brave, strong, and oh so attractive. I believed that he was very smart, he was just normal and didn't always apply himself fully to schoolwork...I believed a lot of things about him that Lilu wasn't willing to. "He isn't even your kind of demon (y/n), keep that in mind. He's a blood demon. He's tethered to a human. You are a fear demon. You haunt humans." "So what?" "So the two of you are very different. VERY different. You can't tell? Blood demons leave here, and sometimes they're gone for a long time...some of them even wind up getting humanized! Then they hardly ever come down here." I gulped a bit. "I don't see that happening, but if it does I'll accept it. I like this dude. A lot." "YOU would accept a humanized demon as your boyfriend?" Lilu said, appalled. "As my husband!" I said. She shook her head. "You are out of your mind. You want to be with arguably the dumbest blood demon in the whole universe, you don't care if he gets humanized, and you don't think you sound crazy." I sighed. "Can we just talk about something different?" "Gladly." We spent the remainder of the evening talking about our interests and playing video games. I periodically had to go outside and train, but really I was just watching, hoping that I'd see Arioch come by again. He didn't but hey I could dream. I just had to say something to him on Monday when we were back in school....
