DARK

In my 27 thousand years of existence, I have never fought with one individual: Circe. She's been my go-to gal since the beginning. I'm older than her, she's admired me...she loves me and I love her...but she's gone. Completely and totally gone. Her human is dead...and Circe just faded into nothingness right in front of my eyes. She reached out to me and we touched...then she was gone. She was terrified. I was terrified. Nothing is the same now. I feel cold and disgusting inside...like I can't warm up. One of the only beings in this universe who mattered to me is gone without a trace. All I have are memories and photos. Photos of us hanging out, photos of us in school...there's even one with Abraxas in it and even though I hate his guts, looking at it doesn't make me feel any animosity towards him...because Circe and I are there too. I look like such a dweeb in some of them...ugh my old glasses...my old hairdo...but it doesn't matter, Circe is there.

God, I couldn't have been more than 16,000 here. We look like such clowns.
