"I can't believe I let you talk me into coming to PAX. I have no interest in this whatsoever." Dark said, sitting on the bed. "Come on, don't you want to support Mark?" Dark chuckled. "No. I never have, and I never will. I'm not into this whole video games stuff." I put my hand on my hip. "I know you don't like them, that's fine...but come on, Mark is your human." "Do NOT remind me." I scolded Dark. "You are a mirrored image of him. Come on." "I don't mind him, really...but we have very, VERY different interests. Besides, what if I get caught?" "That's true." "See? This was a dumb idea." I shook my head. "No, not at all. You just have to act like a big Markiplier fan...and cover up those eyes...matter fact, cover up everything." Dark heaved a great sigh. "One day. That's it. ONE. DAY." I squealed. "We're gonna have fun." "Alright, if you say so. But remember, you owe me one." "Anything you want." I said, without even picking up on the suggestive tone in Dark's voice. He smiled a bit. "So when does this dumb shit start?" he asked. "Tomorrow morning, bright and early." He sighed again. "I am not a morning person." he said. "Just one day." I reminded him. He flopped backwards on the bed. "Does it always rain here?" he asked. "Yup." I said. "Trust me I'm from here." "Good. That's the only thing that's going to make me feel better about being here." I flopped down in my bed. "Don't worry, it's going to be fun." I insisted. Dark snorted. "Whatever."
We both woke up early the next morning. I dressed him as best as I could. "Now if you really want to fit in, you're gonna have to act like a teen girl or something. Let me see your best peace sign...no, it's more than one finger, Dark. Jesus, you're impossible sometimes. Quit flipping me the bird, stick that index finger up. Perfect." "I feel stupid. I must look stupid too." I frowned. "You look like you." He raised his eyebrow at me. "So you're saying I normally look stupid?" I sighed. "No. You look just fine. Now, put on a pair of sunglasses and let's get going." Dark rolled his eyes at me. "Yes, dear leader." he said in a mocking tone. We met Mark outside before the event. "Glad you're both here." he said, giving me a hug. "Ready to spend the day with me?" Dark looked less than thrilled, but I was eager. "Of course!" I said. Dark just grunted. "What's with him?" Mark asked me. "The usual." I said. "Dark just being Dark?" "You got it." "Both of you quit talking to me. And (y/n), I thought I was supposed to be in disguise? Better figure out a different name to call me before you cause a shit storm." I looked at Mark. "How about asshole?" I agreed. "Sounds good to me." Dark flicked the air and Mark and I both felt something like a whip across our abdomens. "Okay...not asshole." Mark said, holding his stomach. "How about...Dave?" Dark looked at Mark like he had a screw loose. "How about you both just don't call me anything?" Mark and I looked at each other. "I guess that could work." I said. "Sounds fine." Mark said. We both headed in early to help Mark set up. Surprisingly, Dark almost looked like he was enjoying himself. A few people looked at him suspiciously, but nobody bothered to take pictures or mention anything so I figured we were okay. "Hungry?" I asked Dark, offering him some food. He shook his head. "If Mark eats, then I eat." he said. "Mark has been eating all day." "I know. I feel 10 pounds heavier already. It's gonna take some serious jogging to get rid of this shit." I poked Dark in the stomach. "You're fine." I said. Dark gave me a very knowing glare and crossed his arms, chewing a toothpick since he couldn't smoke in the venue. "Come on, take some pictures with me." I said, tugging at his arm. He glared down at me. "(Y/N), really?" he asked. "Yes!" I said, pulling out my trusty cellphone. I flung an arm around his broad shoulders and smiled. I intentionally stepped on his toes. "Smile." I said. He reluctantly gave me his most intimidating grin.
