Merida

We stepped through the portal and into North's place. Jack called out saying we were back. It was strangely quiet as we started looking for them. Almost... too quiet.

A shriek filled the air.

I started running as fast as I could toward the sound. I was the first to arrive on the scene.

Rapunzel was kneeling on the floor by the big globe. She was crying. I knelt down next to her as the boys came in.

"What happened? What's wrong?" Jack said. Rapunzel held up a crumpled piece of paper.

I took it and read it aloud.

Dear the LITTLE four,

First I most apologize to you, Merida, for cutting you off whilst you were introducing yourself.

It was I who caused that earthquake. It was I who caused that blackout. And it is I who has taken the BIG four, the yetis, and those puny elves away.

Good luck trying to find them. For I have hidden them so well, I myself can barely find them.

Be warned. I am the stormy wind. I am the drought. I am chaos.

I hope to see you soon Merida. Your beauty is more pure than a rose.

Sincerely Yours,

the Necromancer.

(Author's Note: I couldn't think of anything cool so I borrowed the Necromancer from the Hobbit. Sorry J. R. R. Tolkien)

I stared at the note in disgust. How could someone so cruel say something like that to me? It made me want to barf.

I looked up at the boys. Jack looked bewildered. Hiccup looked really mad. I turned back to Rapunzel. I wrapped my arm around her, comforting her.

"Rapunzel, it's alright. At least we all have each other. Right guys?" I glared at the boys.

"Uh, yeah! We are all together. And together we will find this Necromancer guy," Jack said.

A look of dawning came across Hiccup's face. He murmured something as he turned to Jack.

"Where are the stables?" he asked in a hurried tone.

Jack gave him a look and waved us through a door. In no time we were at the stables. No sooner had we stepped in did a horrible noise come to our ears.

It was like someone, or something, was in pain.

"Toothless!" Hiccup cried, running towards the sound. We all followed.

Hiccup knelt down next to the big, black creature. I could only see the huge gash down his side.

Jack and Rapunzel stood there in awe of the great dragon. I remembered Rapunzel's hair.

"Rapunzel! Your hair!"

Rapunzel slowly came forward, as to not startle Toothless. Hiccup calmed Toothless enough for Rapunzel to put her hair on the wound. She sang her song and the wound healed.

Toothless seemed to sigh in relief. He jumped up and started licking Hiccup. It seemed that Toothless was nothing more than a gigantic flying dog.

"Jack, Rapunzel, this is Toothless. Toothless, this is Jack and Rapunzel," Hiccup managed to get out after calming Toothless down.

Toothless suddenly became stiff. The round black pupils became slits as he growled in the direction of the stairs.

That's when I heard it.

It was as if someone was taking slow, heavy steps down the stairs while clapping slowly. We all got into a fighting stance.

I wasn't sure whether to run away from the figure that appeared or run straight into his arms and kiss him.

He was stunning. He was completely ripped. I bet a punch in the gut wouldn't faze him. He had the most beautiful face I had ever seen.

But then, something about him made me want to flee. He had a smirk on his face that made me want to sigh and scream at the same time. I was filled with so much hate.

"Well, if it isn't the little four," he said. Lord, even his voice was beautiful.

"Where are they?" Jack asked, his voice full of hate.

"Now, is that anyway to act around your savior?"

Savior?

We all must have looked confused because he laughed a beautiful laugh.

"I got rid of your biggest competition! You now have no one in your way, no one blocking you from being the most powerful people in the world!"

I guess Jack couldn't take it any more because he blasted the Necromancer with a flick of his staff.

The Necromancer dodged it and shot his hands up. Immediately the earth moved up around us.

I felt trapped. I couldn't move my arms. I couldn't think straight. All I knew was that guy was getting on my nerves.
