So here's the deal. While Merida and Hiccup were flying to the library, Jack and Rapunzel were being held by the Necromancer. Merida and Hiccup were in that library for a loooooong time. This happened in the meanwhile.
Rapunzel
I could feel the darkness before I opened my eyes. You know, the chills you get in the middle of the night when you wake up from a nightmare. The feeling someone, or something is watching you.
I opened my eyes.
Surrounding me was a cruel darkness. A darkness that would scare the bravest man. There was a light above my head, but stretched only as far as the edges of my cage. It also stretched across the body of Jack.
"Jack!" I rushed over to him. He was starting to come to. I wished that he would stay unconscious a little longer, as he had a gash in his head.
"Punzie?" came his weak voice. I knelt next to his head. His electric blue eyes slowly opened, looking right up at me.
"Jack, I'm going to need you to stay still. I have to heal a gash on your head. Okay?" I said, making my hair a longer length. A put some over his wound.
As I sang my song, I noticed Jack never took his eyes off me. I finished my song and shortened it back to shoulder length. Jack continued looking at me.
I stared into his eyes. Trapped, but I've never felt more free. He was leaning towards me. I was leaning towards him. Our lips had barely touched when I heard laughing.
"Look at that. Such an adorable scene," laughed a figure in the shadows. Two figures stepped into the light.
I gasped. Jack froze. "Mother?" I said as Jack said, "Pitch?"
