Merida

I was laying on the ground. There was some pain in my head.

"Ohhhhh," I moaned, sitting up.

"Ow," said a voice behind me. I leaped up, knocking an aarow. I pointed it at the voice, aaaand then screamed.

Laying behind the thing that spoke was a huge dragon as black as the sky.

"Dragon!" I aimed my aarow at it.

"Stop! Don't shoot!" A boy was suddenly standing in front of me. I guess this boy was the thing I ran, well, flew into.

"Who are you? Why are you defending that?"

"I'm Hiccup. This is my dragon Toothless. We would both benfit a lot if you lowered your weapon."

I glanced at the dragon. The black part of it's eyes were slits. I cautiously lowered the bow. Then I put the aarow back into the quiver

The dragon's eyes became wide, like puppy eyes.

"What's your name?" Hiccup asked.

"Merida. I'm sorry for crashing into you."

"It's okay. But how were you flying?"

"Well, it's really hard to explain. I just, did it."

I reached out and whacked Hiccup's arm.

"Hey! What was that for?" He asked, rubbing his arm.

"I wanted to make sure I wouldn't pass through you."

"You too?"

Just then, I heard a rustle to my left. I was aiming at a bush faster than I realized.

"How-" came from Hiccup before it was muffled. I turned and shot an aarow at the... giant bunny?

He dodged it. Suddenly I couldn't see.

I started screaming and yelling as I twisted and turned. Whoever had me had a good grip. I felt myself being lifted up and thrown.

I landed on a ground that did not feel like forest. I was finally able to remove the sack. I gasped.

I was in Santa's workshop! It was even more magical than I thought it was. I turned and saw Hiccup, open mouthed, taking it all in.

Behind him was Santa himself. The Toothfairy was there, too! Stepping through this wierd, portal thingy was the gigantic bunny I had tried to shoot at. There was also this really small man. He was all gold, and he was floating above the ground.

"Welcome to the North Pole!" bellowed Santa. "I am Santa, but you can call me North. This is Toothfairy," she waved.

"Over here is the Easter Bunny. You can call him Bunny."

"Oi, this one's got a nasty temper," Bunny said pointing a boomerang at me.

"And this is the Sandman. He goes by Sandy." Sandy was displaying a bunch of symbols above his head. They were going to fast and I didn't understand any of it.

All of a sudden, a boy swooped into the room. And I mean SWOOPED. He almost flew right into me.

He landed next to North, leaning on his big wooden staff.

"So these are the new recruits?" he said, smirking at me as he eyed me up and down. He looked at Hiccup.

"What happened to your leg?"

I looked down and almost gasped myself. How had I not noticed the mechanical leg?

"Um, it's a long stor-" Just then another person came into the room. This time it was a girl. She had shoulder length blonde hair and was wearing a pink and purple dress.

"You were able to find the right clothes, yes?" Tooth asked. Wait, find clothes?

"Could someone please tell me what is going on?!" I nearly shouted.

"I think, first you should become acquainted with each other. How did you become a spirit?"

The kid with the staff raised his hand.

"I'll go. I'm Jack Frost, the guardian of Winter." His story was sad. He gave up his life for his kid sister. Then, he went on to explain the battle against Pitch.

When he was done, he kinda stood there awkwardly. He turned to the blonde girl.

"Punzie, why don't you go next?" Jack said.

"Hi! I'm Rapunzel. I just became a spirit." Rapunzel had died in a very none heroic way. Death by a silly mistake!

When she was done, Hiccup stepped forward.

"I'm Hiccup. I am the son of Stoick the Vast, Chief of all the vikings on Berk."

I couldn't believe what that guy had been through. He seemed to realize then, while telling his tale, that his dragon was missing.

"Where's Toothless?" Hiccup asked.

"Your dragon's in the stables. He'll be fine for now," Bunny said.

When Hiccup was done, Everyone turned to me. I took a deep breath.

"I'm Merida. I hail from Scotland. I accidentally turn-"

There was a loud boom. The giant globe shook. The ground bounced up and down. I could see North's mouth moving but nothing was coming out.

Suddenly, the room became black. So black, I couldn't see my hair that was in my face. There was a scream. A yell. Someone pushed me down to the floor.

Then, everything was still. Quiet. Too quiet. It slowly turned light again. I gasped.

Hiccup and Jack were sprawled on the ground. Jack had a wound on his arm. Hiccup's stomach was covered in blood.

North, Tooth, Bunny, and Sandy were unconscious. Rapunzel was still up. She was laying next to me, taking in the scene.

Her eyes fell on Jack and Hiccup.

"No! Oh no, no, no," she said as she rushed over.

I snapped out of my daze and followed.

"Oh! Hold Hiccup still. Be sure he doesn't move," Rapunzel commanded as she started to wrap her hair around the wound. Hair that I'm pretty sure was shorter before.

"How-?" I started to say, but she shushed me.

I moved over to Hiccup's head. He started to moan.

"Hey, it's ok. Just stay still. Rapunzel's fixing you up," I soothed.

I heard Rapunzel sing a song, but I kept my eyes on Hiccup. He was starting to wake up. Rapunzel stopped singing.

"Hey," came shakily from Hiccup. He sat up. All that was left of his wound was the blood on his shirt.

I looked at Rapunzel. She was wrapping Jack's wound. She started to sing.

"Flower gleam and glow.

Let your power shine.

Make the clock reverse.

Bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt.

Change the fate's design.

Save what has been lost.

Bring back what once was mine.

What once was mine."

I lept to my feet. RAPUNZEL'S HAIR WAS GLOWING! Jack's wound healed as well as Hiccup's had.

Rapunzel stood up and, magically, her hair became as short as before.

What the heck was happening?
