Merida
I had kissed Hiccup. I had kissed Hiccup! What had come over me? He was right there. I blame my actions on his eyes. They were, just, wow. Why did his eyes have to be so beautiful?
I hate to admit this, but I actually liked kissing him. It felt, good.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I focused on flying. Hiccup and Toothless were flying a little bit ahead. Hiccup was saying something to Toothless. Toothless slowed down until they were next to me.
"Want to have another race?" Hiccup asked, smiling.
"Why? Do you really like being beaten?"
Hiccup laughed. "Have you met Toothless? He's the fastest dragon ever to exist."
"Okay. I accept your challenge. Ready?"
"Set." Hiccup leaned down closer to Toothless.
"GO!" we both shouted. I brought my hands quickly down to my side. I could feel the wind racing over my body. I was going faster than I had ever gone before. I turned my head slightly to the side. Hiccup was smirking as he and Toothless easily flew next to me. Toothless seemed to be smiling too!
Toothless suddenly took off with one flap of his wings. He and Hiccup were like a blur. I tried to go faster, but my attempts were all for nought.
Hiccup eventually slowed down enough for me to catch up. He was laughing as I felt my face turn steadily redder.
"How does it feel to be beaten?" he smirked. I felt suddenly weak. I dropped a couple feet. Hiccup was right there with Toothless. He caught me before I could plummet to the earth.
"Are you okay?" he asked, concern filling his face. I couldn't help but smile to myself. It felt nice that he cared so much.
"Yeah, just felt a little faint. I'm fine."
Hiccup nodded. He let go of me, letting me continue flying. We continued on our journey until the sun was high above our heads. We decided to land and find some food. I shot some fish out of a nearby river. While waiting for the fish to cook, we sat in silence. It felt kind of awkward until Hiccup asked, "What's your favorite color?" That one question had us going for hours. I didn't even notice the sun had set until I looked up at the starry night.
"I guess we should get some sleep. Good night Hiccup," I said, settling down for the night.
"What, no good night kiss?" said Hiccup. I rolled my eyes as I moved over to him. I gave him a quick kiss before settling back down.

I was looking up at a huge rock wall. I didn't think much of it until I heard the loud roar. I realised it was my escape and started to climb. I reached the top tired, but happy I had escaped the roar. That is, until I heard it behind me.
I turned and screamed. Mor'du was standing there with a bloody Hiccup in his jaws. Jack and Rapunzel were in a heap right next to him. Mor'du dropped Hiccup and came prowling towards me.
I tried to dodge him but he caught me. His gigantic jaws were open, and closing in on my head.
"Merida!" came a familiar voice. My eyes snapped open as I shot up. It was very dark out, but I could still see the worry on Hiccup's face. "Are you okay? You were screaming."
"I guess I'm okay," I said. Hiccup nodded and started to move back to his sleeping spot when I grabbed his arm. "Could you, could you stay with me?"
The darkness didn't conceal Hiccup's blush as he lay down with me. I rested my head on his chest as his arms wrapped protectively around me.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked. I found my dream spilling out before I knew what was going on. I also found tears rushing down my face. Hiccup gently brushed them away.
"It's okay. You're fine. You're going to be okay." I guess that crying exhusted me because before I knew it, I was asleep.
Sorry if this story changed! My phone did something wierd so I had to rewrite this chapter. Sorry again. You can still comment and vote though! *virtual thumbs up*
