 Tris's POV

I'm just leaving the training room. Even though I passed stage one, I still need to pass stage two and it's still important for me to gain more strength. After all I'm in Dauntless, I need to be strong. It's late and there's only a few people out. Mostly drunk Dauntless either making out or stumbling down the halls. As I was walking down the familiar halls towards the initiate dorms, my mind began wandering towards Four. The other day when I was in the fear landscape room he gently brushed a piece of my hair out of his way to inject the serum.

I remember how soft yet rough his fingers felt as they grazed my neck.

Stop Tris you shouldn't be thinking that way! He's your instructor and most importantly doesn't feel the same way! He wouldn't feel the same; I'm built like a twelve year old and most importantly not very pretty. I mean I'm not ugly but I'm certainly not pretty.  I was almost near the initiate dorms when I heard a sound from behind me. When I turned around there was nothing there.

As I began to turn around and continue my way I felt three sets of hands grab me. One covering my mouth muffling my screams and others holding my arms and legs as they began to carry me. I tried kicking, screaming, slashing but nothing seemed to budge or work. I took a look at the three figures. Obviously very masculine built and strong but they wore masks covering their faces. As they kept carrying me I kept screaming hoping someone would hear me but that only gained me a strong punch in the ribs and I screamed out in pain.

As they began to slow their pace I heard the sound of rushing water splashing up onto rocks . That meant only one thing,  the Chasm. They want to kill me. I began slashing and kicking again but nothing was working. I then bit down hard on the hand covering my mouth until I heard a yell and the hand released. "Ah stupid bitch! You never learn do you stiff!" I realized it was Peter! The anger in me began to boil and I began slashing and kicking ten times harder. "Look this is going to far Drew, Peter we should stop!'" and I realized that the other guy was Al. My best friend.

The hurt and anger just pushed more and more in me.

I was able to get free of their grasps and by this time there masks were off. I began hitting the first person who came into view and it was Drew. I didn't get very far before Peter and Al pulled me away. Al let go but Peter began punching and kicking me until I couldn't fight back anymore and I fell to the ground against the railing. I screamed out in pain. It was excruciating and I felt everything everywhere. Peter continued kicking me and I soon felt a warm thick liquid pour from my face and head. There was so much that from the smell I knew it was blood. My vision became blurry and I couldn't move. When I couldn't move the tiniest bit, Peter picked me up by my neck so hard and high that I couldn't breath and I was over the railing. "I'm not going to be lower than an ugly stiff like you!" Peter said. "Peter stop! You said this was just to scare her not kill her" I could tell it was Al.

When I looked over through the somewhat of vision I did have AL looked worried and Drew stood there looking accomplished with his arms crossed. Peter's grip around my neck tightened and the burning that was in my throat spread deep into my lungs from not breathing.

I was about to lose consciousness when I heard a yell. The next thing I know Peter was yanked off of me and I fell so hard to the ground that I felt my head go numb.

My vision was blurry from tears and the pain in my head but I could see a figure on top of Drew. Peter is gone and so is Al. But what shocked me the most was the face I saw who saved me. Four! "Four" I said soft and tiredly. As soon as his name left my mouth he got off of Drew and walked over to me. "Don't worry Tris I got you, you're safe I promise" he whispered as he picked me up cradling me to his chest. I leaned my head against his chest and that's when everything went black.
