It was a muggle song that Albus had heard numerous times before, but couldn't quite name, the lyrics full of love, music soft and acoustic.
The two swayed gently on the floor, and Albus rested his head in the crook of Scorpius's neck. After a growth spurt in fourth year, Scorp had been taller, and Al loved it (although he pretended to be bitter).
They were close, closer than should be possible, like they were about to melt into each other.
Their families were on the outskirts, smiling at their boys who were now each others', who had come so far from when they had been too scared to admit the depths of their feelings, even to themselves. Now they were comfortable with the overwhelming love that seemed to pour out of them when the other was near.
They had each other.
That was all that mattered.

This has finally come to an end, my dudes. I'd like to thank you all for reading this. I can't tell you how emotionally rewarding it is to get notifications from the first chapter. It makes me exited that someone is about to start reading this thingy that took up over six months of my life, admittedly on and off. I love when you get into crazy conversations in the comments (there's an adaptation of I Write Sins Not Tragedies somewhere that I suggest you read), and I treasure every comment and vote. If you're despairing the end of this, don't worry, I just started a new Scorbus fic with soulmates and a muggle AU and texting. Feel free to have a read. Have a great day!
