Nico and Will are adults and they live together in or near chb that they don't really plan on adopting until later but then Chiron asks them "to please just watch this one little demigod for part of the school year because they could really use a family environment with parental figures that can support them" and of course they accept because who better to watch a young demigod than a son of hades that could blow monsters out of the water and a son of Apollo that can heal injuries (physical and emotional). And then they eventually adopt the kid because the kid's life back in the mortal world was just terrible and over the years they somehow take in more and more kids until they find good homes and they become a sort of a Solace-di-Angelo foster home for demigods that don't have a family to go back to. And they become notorious as the "parents of chb" and I just have a lot of feelings about this.
