It happened again, I got caught up in your eyes.

I know I should have looked away, the eye contact lasted too long between us, and of course I'm the first one to break that contact.

Why must you make eye contact with me? I know it's because we are having a conversation, but you don't notice how my pupils dilate when I'm staring at you.

You're oblivious to the way I suddenly get shy, the way my face turns red, and the way I laugh even though you didn't say anything funny.

It happened again, I think it will always happen.
