The Vet's POV.
I walked in the main living room to see The Doctor standing back and watching as Marge approached her children, who were inspecting the large TARDIS blue and box held tight with white ribbon.
"Mother, who is this from?" Lilly asked, and Marge started to turn around, The Doctor turned upon hearing me approach and grabbed my hand pulling me out of their sight.
"Those two are quite ridiculous, you are to stay away from them." we heard Marge say from around the corner.
"I like him" Lilly defended
"I like him too" Cyril agreed
"and, it's a nice tree" Lilly added, "Isn't it?"
"It's the best tree in the world" Cyril continued
"Yes, yes I suppose it is" Marge said lightly, I peered around the corner and saw her hand on his back, but The Doctor pulled me back out of sight quickly, glaring at me. Again.
"Say is mother, say it please. Say the thing you always say." Cyril begged,
"This Christmas is going to be the best Christmas ever" Marge said, I peeked one more time to see the three of them hugging, and was pulled back and given yet another glare. I think I'm going to get glared at a lot now. I heard the sound of the portal settling, I hoped it wasn't flashing brightly like it had last time.
Pretty soon it was time for bed, The Doctor said I could sleep on the TARDIS and keep my cat company, I think he might actually be warming up to him. Well, I hope he is anyway. A lot of my Timelord memories are still coming back to me, so I acted like a human a lot. Oh well. The Doctor said he had to take care of some stuff downstairs, and I should wait for him here in the attic. I guess he didn't want me hiding in my room yet. After a few minuets he came back up and started messing with wires on the TARDIS shell, I guess maybe he was getting around to looking at the chameleon circuits? either way, I was just watching him work, entranced by how he moved so carefully and delicately as if he knew what the hell he was doing. probably just showing off again.
Lilly walked in silently, I pretended not to notice her at first. Then she crossed her arms and looked at The Doctor,
"You were lying about the panthers" she said
"famous last words" I retorted, defensively. Why, I've no clue. I guess me and Mico count as panthers in the back of my mind.
"Why have you got a phone box in your room?" Lilly continued, completely ignoring me. Jeez, do people really get so good at ignoring cats- never mind.
"It's not a phone box its my..." the doctor started
"Wardrobe" I suggested, and he nodded.
"Yes, and I've just painted it to look like a phone box." he said
"Well what are you doing?" Lilly asked, looking at the wires in his hands
"Rewiring" he said, matter-of-factly
"Why would you need to rewire a wardrobe?" she asked,
"Have you seen the way he dresses?" I asked, suddenly remembering my TARDIS at home, looking like a closet. I wondered when I could convince The Doctor to take me to get it, I remembered how to fly, but when the doctor flys his I just like to watch.
"Who are you? Really, who are you?" Lilly asked, smiling a little about the way The Doctor dressed.
"Your brother, where is he?" The Doctor asked, I looked at the wires he was inspecting and realized that he was being alerted of something, most likely the portal being tampered with.
