Nash wasn't moving, and I knew that if my dad saw her, he was going to do something to her. Something that, while I was there, I wouldn't let happen. I quickly got up from my bed and grabbed her hand and led her to my closet. She looked a little scared.
"I need you to please keep quiet, the last thing I want is my dad finding out you're here and for him to do something to you." I told her while looking into her eyes and, with my right hand, putting some hair behind her right ear. "You have to trust me."
"I trust you." She said.
I smiled, and then kissed her quickly before closing the closet door, and running to my bed and sat down waiting for the storm. I knew my dad was going to explode any time soon. Then, the door opened roughly, and there stood my dad with a magazine on his hand. He walked over to me, and basically threw the magazine in my lap.
In the whole front cover, there was a picture of Natasha and I yesterday at The Dig. This one, was when we were talking. The title in the cover said: 'Jason's Mystery Girl'.
"Well now, explain." My dad said.
"Dad, before you say anything, I--" I started but then was cut off by my dad.
"You what? How did you met this girl? Is she even a part of our class? Who is she?"
"Dad, I met her two nights ago when I was at CRUSH. I saw Cameron basically trying to get something out of her that she didn't want and defended her. Then, we started talking and I invited her for a date yesterday at The Dig. We were fine, up until the paparazzi arrived."
"You were fine?" My dad said, basically screaming and his voice drowned in sarcasm. "You're telling me, that hanging out with a strange girl who I don't even know, is fine according to you? Jason, where does this girl come from?"
"I- I don't know, but it doesn't matter. Why? Because she is my first real friend in a long time."
"Real friend? What about all those kids downstairs?" My dad asked. "The ones who are just like you and don't use you for things like this girl does."
"Dad, she isn't like that! Natasha is one of the most real people I've met and even if she's not rich, she's more fun than those fake barbies downstairs or the fake losers who call themselves my friends."
"Oh, so her name's Natasha? And she isn't from our group?"
"No, dad, she's not. And I'm glad she isn't, because the last thing I need is another fake friend."
"What if this girl is only dating you for what you are?"
"She isn't. You just don't know her as well as I do."
"Good, 'cause I never want to meet her. I don't you to hang out with her anymore!"
"Why not, dad? Because she's not rich like the kids of your friends are? Because you don't think she's good enough to be accepted by you and your stupid standards?" I yelled, my dad looked at me once before grabbing me by the collar of my shirt.
"Listen, and listen well, you may think you're so mature and 'powerful' to stand up to me, but you're wrong. One more back-talk and you are packing your bags to go to college right now and study hotel management. I don't give three fucks if you want it or not. Understood?" My dad said threatingly.
"You can send me anywhere you want, you can punch me or hurt me, but you'll never make me not see Natasha again."
"You wanna bet?" He said, before letting go of my shirt and making me fall to the ground. Then, he left my bedroom, a few seconds later I heard the front door close. I got up from the floor and then opened the closet doors. Natasha fell right into my arms.
"Are you scared?" I asked her. She nodded. "You don't have to worry, because even if he decides to send me away, I'll come back for you whenever I can."
"Even if I'm not here anymore, and I'm back home in Seattle?"
"Even if it is in Seattle, I'll come for you." I said, and felt that she hugged me tighter.
"Jason, what if your dad doesn't let you see me anymore?"
"Then I'll have to find a way to escape and spend time with you."
"You would do that for me?"
"I'll do anything for you." I said.
She looked up at me, and then kissed me. This kiss, was a little longer than the first one, because it had a lot of feeling. Then, I pulled away and hugged her tight. I had no idea what my dad could do to us.
I walked Natasha out of my room, and saw her friends in the couch. Then, they walked towards us and then I led the three of them to the door. I hugged Danielle and Amelia goodbye, and then Natasha turned to me and asked,
"What are we going to do?"
"Don't worry, I'll come to you tonight, and if I don't make it at six, its because I'm still fighting my way through the security my dad will probably put on me to avoid me seeing you. But even if it is a wall of bodyguards and security, I'll still do whatever I can to find you. I promise." I told her, and then hugged her. When we pulled back, I gave her one last kiss before they left the suite. I closed the door behind them.
I don't know what plans my dad has for me, but I am pretty sure it involved doing anything to not let me see Natasha. But whatever he did, I'll just try my best to find her. I had to. She's my first real friend in a long time, and the girl that I really liked.
