After the swim in the ruins, Aaron and I made our way to a restaurant called Carmine's. This was Italian food, and according to Aaron, a very good restaurant at that.
Once we arrived at the restaurant, we took a seat in a table and before i sat down he pulled back the chair for me and then waited until I sat down to push it back towards the table. Then, he walked around and sat down in his chair. The waiter brought us menus, and then waited until we told her our order to take them away and leave.
"So, did you enjoy our time at the ruins?" He asked me.
"I did, it was incredible. I had never seen something like that before."
"Neither had I. What did you like best?"
"I think, the feeling of going into a new world and seeing something that not a lot of people get to see. I mean, swimming with those fish and being able to be this," I said while holding my thumb and pointer close enough to touch, "close to a manta ray and fish. Were those piranhas by the way?"
"I think they were."
"Anyway, that was a once in a lifetime thing. What about you, what was your favorite part?"
"My favorite part was being able to explore that world, with you."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, that is very so."
"Well, truth be told, I liked that too."
"Amelia, I don't know how you'll take this, but I--"
"Here's your drinks, I'll go and get your food now. It should be coming soon." The waitress said, while barging in and interrupting the thing that Aaron was going to say.
"Haha. Thanks." I said nicely, and watched as she walked away after setting down our drinks in front of us.
"Anyway, what were you going to say?"
"Me? Oh, nothing. I was just going to say that I enjoyed spending time with you today."
"How was I supposed to take that?"
"What do you mean?"
"Before the waitress interrupted us, you said, 'Amelia, I don't know how you're going to take this, but...' so what was it?"
"Oh, nothing important. It's nothing, don't worry."
"Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything."
"Positive. Don't worry. Anyways, how'd you feel about watching a movie later?"
"That'd be great! What are we watching?"
"A Walk To Remember."
"Oh. My. God! I love that movie, that is seriously one of the very few where I cry."
"Wow. I used to cry in some movies when I was little."
"Did you?"
"Oh yeah. You showed me Bambi or just recently Toy Story 3, and you'd see me jerk tears every so often."
"I think it's cute that you cry during some movies, it means that you're not at all non-sensitive."
"Did that ruin your impression of me being non-sensitive?" Aaron asked jokingly.
I nodded smiling.
"Darn!" He said, and I laughed. He winked at me, and then laughed too.
After lunch, we walked over to the resort's theater for an apparent private snow of A Walk To Remember, a movie with Mandy Moore. We went inside the theatre, and took a seat in the middle row. During the movie, Aaron slowly made his moves.
