"Make sure she gets what?" Amelia asked, confused.

"Oh. Well, Jason just told me that someone left a very important message just for you." I said.

"And what's this 'important message'?"

"For you to be ready at ten tomorrow morning. There's a surprise coming your way." I said, smiling.

"Does that surprise include the letter 'A' in it?"

"It actually has two 'A's' in it."

"Is it a boy?"

"You're a smart guesser. Tell you what, this surprise is one that, I think, you've been waiting for, for a very long time."

"Is it Aaron?"

"...Can't tell..."

"It so is."

"Okay, maybe it is. But, if it is, then, why aren't you like jumping up and down and screaming because you're excited for tomorrow?"

"I'm nervous; not excited."

"Why not?"

"Because, I'm not getting my hopes up for a guy that I barely know."

"Can't you just think for a little moment happy things, like what if you really like this guy?"

"What if I'm not really sure what I want?"

"What if what the problem is, is that you're just scared?"

She was quiet for a moment. "Maybe I am scared, or maybe I just don't want anything to do with him."

"You just admitted it to us last night, you do like him."

"So what if I do? Is he cute? Yes. He is. Is he nice? Yes. He is. But, does that mean that I like him? No."

"Amelia, you do like him."

"Natasha, don't try to push me into liking a guy just because you want your 'perfect triple-dates' and want everyone to be with a friend of your boyfriend. Look, if you have a boyfriend, good for you. But don't push me into one just because you want me to have one. I'll look for one when I want to or feel like I want to open up my heart to someone. I'm not interested in looking for a boyfriend right now. i like being single. I enjoy it. I don't have a boy behind my back every second trying to push me into doing something with him, or spending every free moment that I can with him only. Or basically trying to steal my free time with my friends just to be with him."

"Okay, fine. I'm not pushing you into going on a relationship with Aaron. I'm just saying, is to at least give him a chance. Maybe you might find what you've been hoping for."

"You're probably going to storm on me if I don't choose him."

"I won't. It's your choice. I won't say anything."

"Even if it bothers you?"

"I promise. But, if I promise to not say anything if you don't end up choosing him, will you promise to at least go open-minded to the date? Please?"

Amelia took a deep breath. "Okay, I promise."

"Thanks."

"Now, when did you say the date was?"

"He's coming here, tomorrow morning at ten. So you better be ready. Danielle and I will help you get ready and everything."

"Just don't go overboard with the make-up and stuff."

"We know, don't worry."

"You guys, I think Amber is really depressed right now." Danielle said, while leaving her room and standing in the living room where Amelia and I were standing.
