Well, school is over.
Fast, ya I know. Beth and I were stoked to go check out our new college though. Away from cheerleaders, preps yet....the one thing I'll miss is the shiny, sweaty, built, abs we saw every morning. That was nice. Actually another thing I'll miss is my English Teacher, seriously though. My English Teacher was probably the best teacher I've ever had, plus, she was Australian. She would always tell me the stories of how she would write stories in the outback and how beautiful it was there. Makes me want to live there. The best thing I can think of is just getting out of America, we never get to see anything cause I live in the center of Ohio. Fucking Ohio. But that's only in my dreams, and apparentely so is random guys forcing me to make out with them.
I start to pack up cause Beth and I want to leave as soon as possible. The college were going to is in Florida so, we have a while to go. We each pre called places so we already have a job and we already have the apartment ready to move into. The apartment is right by our college and our jobs cause, of course we had to get jobs close to each other. There was a lot of apartments in this complex but who cares. Its not like were gonna be the town sluts and have sex and shake the walls every night.
Things actually went by amazingly fast, school ended a week ago. And we are spending our last night in our own beds.
My parents already,
cried
hugged
said I'll come back
The one thing that made me actually shed some tears, was that last thing my father said to me.
"No matter how far you go, how many people you meet, how long you stay........you'll always be my little girl. The little girl that would always play with her dinosaurs and go to the movies.."
That was the first time I saw my dad cry. My dad, he never cries. And to actually know that he cared about me my whole life, changed my whole perspective on everything. After that I went into his arms as my mom joined in. Now all I have is my laptop, a mattress on the wood floor and all the memories floating around my beloved room.
