Chapter 10

"BETH" I scream. She is still there laughing at me. I go up and take her phone and delete the video.

"It's okay I have another copy." I look at her with a glare. Then I end up laughing with her.

"Why were you freaking out?" she asks. I look at her and smile. Then I go back to my bed and flail around. She comes over and lays on the edge on my bed. Since I was freaking out I accidentally kick her.

"OUCH!" She yelps.

"Sorry." I laugh and she looks at me.

"What happened?" She asked again.

"Well, I thought you got back home and obviously you would have said my name or something. So I knew it wasn't you, I get my bat.." She started to interrupt.

"You got your bat?" She asked me like I was dumb.

"Yes, well anyways, I got my bat and went out in the living room and Ashton was there. I asked him to leave but instead he ran into my room and around the house, then he tried to kiss me blah blah blah.. then he asked me out on a date for tonight and I said yes." That was a lot. I look at Beth and she is sitting there smiling. She gets up, goes to my door, and stands there and smiles at me for a second. Then she leaves. Sometimes she can be really weird and I cant blame her, cause she is Beth. I look at the clock and its about 3:30. I thought I should be getting ready so I take my clothes off and hop into the shower. The shower here is pretty nice, it has a little flower pattern around the wall and there is perfect shelves for our soaps and stuff. After I take my nice shower I dry of my long hair and go into my room. I get my blow dryer out dry my hair, I love when I blow dry my hair because it gets really soft and fluffy. I sit in front of my mirror closet and cross my legs. Then I pull out my make up and start my makeup by putting on a little concealer. Then I try to create a natural smoky eye then pop on a little mascara.  I found the perfect sundress and slip it on. The sundress had a little tribal pattern so I thought it would be cute just to throw on my high top black converse. By the time I look into the mirror, Beth comes in and looks at me,

"You really have a good taste in fashon." I smile at her "Can I borrow something for tonight?" She adds in. I look around in my closet and found an olive green maxi skirt with a white printed muscle tee. She took it, ran into her room and put it on.

"You look amazing." I tell her, then I grab some gold hoops and give them to her.

"Thanks Jay." She says while she smiles. We the grab the rest of our stuff and the first to arrive is Calum. I give Beth a hug and let her go. She looks back at me with a giant smile and I give her the same reaction. Calum came at about 5:50 so Ashton should be here in like ten minutes. Just when I think about him showing up I hear a knock at my door. I look through the little eye hole and it was him. I open the door. And let him in.

"Well at least you knocked this time." I tell him. He doesn't reply. I turn around to face him and he is standing there gazing at me. I see him snap into reality and start to talk.

"You look nice" He says while smiling, "Ready to go?" I look at him and nod in agreement and we head out. As soon as we get to his car he opens the door to let me in. I see him circle around the back of the black car and get into the drivers seat.

"So where are we going?" I ask

"Well you said you wanted a surprise." He looks and smiles. I am pretty sure I've never seen anyone smile as much as him. It's like he thinks everything I do is amazing, I think I like it though. I start to notice that he is wearing the same outfit he was earlier today. I smile to myself, trying not to let him see me. I reach my hand towards the radio and I feel a little smack.

"No one messes with my radio." He snaps. "Just kidding do what you want." I let out a relieve breath, I thought that he was actually saying that. I don't really know the radio stations here.

"Do you know any good radio stations?" I ask. He looks at me then pops in a cd. He presses a couple buttons and then a pretty good song starts to play.

"This is our band, this song is called Too Late." I smile while looking at the road. This was actually really good.

"This is amazing, I really like it." I look at him and give him a big smile like he gives me almost every time I speak. And of course he smiles.

"You think so? Sometime maybe you can see us record. That would be cool." I think he just invited me to maybe the coolest thing ever. Well that seemed pretty rad to me.

"Sure!" I say over excitedly. I cover my mouth after I said that and apologize. I have no idea why I did, I guess it's just a reaction.

"Why sorry? It was cute." He say kind of shy like. On the inside it feels like there are so many butterflies that I'm going to burst and butterflies and going to invade the car and make both of us get into a crash because we cant see out of the window. I don't know. I'm going to burst. After he said that I was cute I giggle. As soon as the next song comes on I feel something on my hand. I look and its him trying to grab it. I go ahead and let him. How can he drive with one hand though, wouldn't that be hard? Also how could you not be feeling like I am and drive. Maybe he isn't feeling the same. Maybe he has already done this with other girls. I try to get the thoughts out of my head but they just keep coming. I look out the windshield and see an amazing restaurant. Ashton opens my door for me and holds his hand out to help me get up. As we start to walk he grabs my hand again and leads me into the beautiful place.
