There he stands on the corner.
He's hungry, he's cold, and he's all alone.
He lost everything to a fire,
And all he did was try to aspire.
No wife, no kids, they're all dead.
Nowhere to go, no one to turn to.
So, there he stands on the corner.
No one stops no one helps,
Not even with his declining health.
He's begged, he's pleaded, and he's even prayed.
But no one notices him or his cries.
So, there he stands on the corner.
