If today the world would be covered in darkness,
I'd probably no longer be heartless.
I'd probably have the chance of finding one who
connects with me on a level that others could never see.
The darkness would hide my beastly flaws,
Imperfections that send girls like her away,
If we couldn't see nothing but shadows,
maybe she'd stay, and realize that I ain't all that bad.
It might seem sad, but
I don't care if she's shallow.
I just want her to know that
although I'm not the best looking,
or the tallest,
or the thinnest,
and smallest,
broken down,
and beaten out,
hell-bound,
and butt-ugly,
That I'm still a fucking person who loves
unconditionally!
But she'll never give me the chance to tell her what she means to me!
Because the lights always shine so brightly on the grotesqueness
of my being,
because she's only seeing
the beast.
The broken-down, beaten-out, hell-bound, butt ugly
beast.
