Five feet two and four sixths inches.
Then, on the very tippy top of the things we call 'toes',
I am five feet three point two inches.
From five feet two and four sixths inches
Then stretched to five feet three point two inches.
What a change.
Around the one I call my love,
Two point eight millimeters.
I feel so small,
Therefore I stretch myself out into the world,
And I know more about what she loves than what I love.
I pull myself out of my comfort zones,
And learn things about her that I don't know about myself.Stretch.
I know nothing.
I know nothing but her.She likes politics, indie, and redheads.
I become a redheaded political indie fanatic. She has to like me now.
Of everything she likes, I become the expert.
What else does she like?
She likes...
She likes...She likes tall.
No no no, she likes tall. She likes politics, indie, redheads, and tall!
None of my studying can make me taller!
But I have to try!I have to have her like me.
Ok, ok
Right now I'm five feet two and four sixths inches.Stretch.
Five feet three point two inches.
No no no!
Stretch!
Five feet three point two inches.
No no no no no!!
STRETCH!
STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH!!!Five feet three point six inches.
More!
Come on, Stretch!
She likes tall.
Puuuullll!Human being becomes elastic band,
Stretching to impossible lengths!Thinning to a string-like injustice!
Becoming tall, becoming weak, becoming nothing.Stretch, god damn it! Grow!!
Let your love for her reach down from the grey skies and pull you up
While your insecurities and self-hatred reach up from the red hair dye stains on the bathroom tile and shackle your ankles.Tell them to pull.
Make them stretch you 'til you are as thin as your chances of ever keeping love.Stretch, you tiny piece of shit, stretch!
In the name of the future.
In the name of you.
In the name of beauty in the unexplored territory that is her top lip,
STRETCH!You're doing it!
You're stretching, growing.Oh, no,
You ripped.
