I see her face faints.

I immediately cling my arms to hers.
"You must treat me."I say.
Her face glows
"So, you're still on the list."she starts.
"And so you are"'I smile.
"But not that high anymore."
"Just be grateful you're still part of it."
"Yeah.."
"O-ne?"
"Yes?"
"What's your plan after you graduate?"
Graduate/we stil have 3 semesters left."
We are in our secondyear second sem.
"I'm just wondering if I'll accept Bella's offer to work in their company.
She pauses.
"It's up to you. But how about your degree? It won't be used."
"Hmmm..I don't know yet.."
"Think a hundred times. By the way. "
She brings out a box. It's a box full of my favorite perfume!
"Whoow! It's not yet my birthday yet!"
"Why do you always have to forget our special day?"
I pause.
"Happy sisters day!"She initiates our "same old sweet-thingy stuff", our pinky swear.
I tap my forehead and respond to our "sisterhood gesture."
"You're going to greet me, aren't you?"
"You know I'm not into this, but since I am surprised with these perfume,.."
"well?"
"Hmmmm.."
I'm letting her wait.I wanna play.haha!
"Tiktoktiktok.."she's saying.
"okay!happy monthsary!"
She just doesn't know how pleased I am with her surprise.;)
After one semester..

I am talking to my boyfriend. We currently arguing about the time we're going to visit his parents. I told him I'm still busy and still need to cope with the absences I had. I got sick and I was absent for almost three weeks, and yet he doesn't understand it.
Mei is calling..
"Sorry but I have to drop this, we'll talk about some other time."I told Louie.
Then I lazily answer my "sister's" call.
"What?"

Call drops.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER? SHE' PLAYING WITH ME AGAIN.
"What's up?"I ask her the next morning. She's with her bestfriend.
"Not good."
"Why?"
"You still don't know?"
"Don't know what?"
"I'm off the list."She crunches her crackers.
"What?! I 'm shocked. How could that be? She's one of the brightest students in our university.
"How come? And you didn't plan to tell me?"
"I think I gotta go. See you."Bella stands up.
"I texted you last night. You didn't respond." She coldly answers.
OH.. I HAVEN'T READ YET MY MESSAGES.I'M DISTRACTED WITH THE FIGHT I HAD WITH LOUIE. I JUST DID MY HOMEWORK AND SLEPT.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay .No big deal. You know I'm not kind of melodramatic."
"How come you're off the list?"
"I just focus on that one subject, I less prioritized the others."
"That's frustrating."

I keep silent. She doesn't like to be pitied.
"Just strive harder. I know you'll easily get over it."
"Yeah. What Mei wants, Mei gets. I'l make it up.I will do better. By the way, I saw Louie. .He looks pale."
"Really.."
"I don't know what's wrong with you guys. I'm just thankful I'm single right now.
"And I suggest that you should't find a boyfriend yet. Study first. It would just distract you."
"As you wish. Whoow! Just like you're distracted right now?'
"Shut up."
"What's wrong?'
I should be the one comforting you."
"You know I'm not like you. You want me to console you?"she teases.
"Shut up."I roll my eyes.

I noticed O-ne is acting strange lately. It was as if she'scarrying a burden. I know it' s all about Louie. And I don't want to intrude in. They are always like that. Besides, I don't care about Louie too. I'm not close to him. I just don't like him for her.Dunno why.
"This sem, you will work on the finance department".The staff is now talking to me. Aneko and I are working students in the university to lessen our miscelaneous fees.
"Why?"
"Aneko will replace you."
"But why? I stay here ever since.' Then I stop.
"Is it because of my grades? I can still do it. T hat was just circumstantial."
"It's the director's notice. There were even a change of schedules since he replaced the former one."
I just nod.I don't believe him. Well..
