Chapter 4(Secret)

--At the airport

My friends and her friends plan to accompany her, together with her favorite cousins, brother, sister, and her mom.

We are just laughing at the van. But when she starts to pull her luggage and goes inside the airport, I can't explain what I'm feeling.

Before she enters, "So this it."She smiles.

Her cousins, brothers and sisters hug her. They start to cry.

I don't want this. I don't want to witness those kind of drama.

"Hey.."She taps my shoulder."

"O-ne."that's just the word that come out from my mouth. My voice begins to crack.

"Shhhh.."She hugs me tightly. I fell also the tears from her eyes.

"When everything turns out to be fine, I'll see you. Have to settle things first."

I raise my head and give her a questioning look.

Then she pinches my nose.

"Goodbye baby Mei.."

It's the first semester of the year.I'm now in my third year.I enroll this sem without her.

At first I try to turn my attention to other things. I hang out with friends, my bestfriend.
I'm used being surprisedly cuddled at the back, being pinched on my nose, and being teased and annoyed by her. I'm beginning to miss her.

Cris becomes close with us because it happens that we work in the same department. I become at ease with him. He's kind'a crazy and I see him a big brother. My bestfriend wants him also for me. He tries to court me but I said no. Yet he told me he's going to wait for me. He always insists ,that I'm just being immune to it.

Time passes.Now I'm being used without O-ne around.We always videocall, and chat. She's not available during Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

It seems like she's enjoying her stay there. I even talked to her dad and to her step brothers and sisters. Four months easily passed. She's always busy when ever I talk to her. I have noticed that with in the first few weeks of her stay, she's getting thinner. Then after how many weeks she told me she easily recovered. She just have to adjust her body system in the new environment.

I belong again in the academic list. I strive harder. My name creates it's own image in our school due to some of my achievements.

Phone rings..

O-ne Aneko is calling..

I answer her.

"Where are you?"

"I'm at the canteen O-ne.You don't have work?"

"wait a minute."

Maybe she's busy again yet she's trying to make time for a conversation.

"Look at your back."

I LOOK.

She's there! Standing! She opens her arms, waiting me to come closer.

I hurriedly run to her and hug her.

I didn't notice that brown hair of hers.

"Whoow! New look!"

"Hope you like it!'

I try to inspect her from top to bottom. She has changed. She's more gorgeous now. Though she's kinda more skinny than before. But I like her style now, it's more stylist.
