I sneak a quick glance to my right. Taylor's currently brushing her hair as innocently as anyone can after what we just did, and she's still only wearing her matching bra and underwear, which really doesn't help.
I try to tear my eyes away from her and focus on the open laptop in front of me, but fail miserably, and just find myself staring at her as she finishes with the hairbrush, and reaches for her dress on the floor. She seems to sense my eyes on her, and turns to me. We lock eyes for a second, but she only winks and looks away, grabbing her silky dress off of the floor.
I clear my throat,
"So, better than Calvin, right?"
I hear Taylor exhale loudly, before nodding her head and rolling her eyes.
"Better than Kendall?"
My mouth falls open in reply, and she laughs loudly at this. I feel my face burn, and this only makes her laugh harder, so much that she's clutching her stomach as she giggles.
She's still laughing at me as she slips the silky dress over her head. I can't help but miss when she wasn't wearing - well - as much, and when her head finally does reappear, she raises her eyebrows at me as I say,
"Awww, I preferred it off, but I guess other people might find it a bit weird, wouldn't they?"
Now her mouth drops open as I grin proudly at my comment. She pushes me on my bare chest playfully, and I reach for the TV remote as she plants a kiss on my cheek. The, slightly too steamy, video for Selena's 'Good For You' plays whilst we both get dressed again, exchanging a few kisses in the process, and unpack the rest of the suitcases.
"Hey, Harry?"
"Mhm?"
"What time is it?"
"Uh..."
I check my watch,
"Just past 10, why?"
Her stomach rumbles loudly in response, and she winces and then bursts into laughter. I laugh along with her before asking,
"So, where d'ya wanna go for dinner then?"
"Ya know, I kinda want some Chinese food."
Her reply is instant and I can't help but look shocked,
"But... don't you hate Chinese food?"
"Yeah I do. But I'm just in the mood for some, ya know?"
I raise my eyebrows but decide to drop the subject.
"Ok then. I'll get room service, they'll have Chinese for sure."
Her eyes light up, and she claps her hands together like an excited toddler before leaping into my arms. I try to hug her back, but her grip on my neck is so strong, that I soon give up, and just lay there as she holds me close.
"Uh, babe?"
"Hmm...?"
I raise my eyebrows,
"Oh, yeah, yeah, of course."
She finally lets me go and blushes adorably, before scrambling up to search for the menu. I lie back on the cushiony bed and watch as she finds the menu, humming the tune to 'Good For You' as she does, and flips quickly through the pages, eyebrows furrowed, until she finds the Chinese food.
Taylor:
My mouth waters as I read through the Chinese menu. That's strange. I've hated Chinese food since I was a child. Huh.
Harry calls room service for me anyways, and I wait impatiently for the food to arrive. I lie back, staring at the ceiling and wondering. Harry elbows me, winks and says,
"What are you thinking about?"
He asks with a seductive tone to his voice. I sigh and reply,
"I wonder what Dorothy's doing right now... maybe adding to her secret Harry Styles shrine...?"
Harry closes his eyes and exhales slowly. I turn over to face him, giggling as he rolls his eyes. My insightful thoughts are soon interrupted by the doorbell buzzing.
"Okay, I suggest you stay well out of view of the door."
Harry tells me, jumping up and making his way to the door, as I curl up as small as I can at the end of the bed. Waiting in hungry anticipation, I hear Harry collect the 9 different dishes I ordered. The waiter asks for a selfie with Harry, too. When Harry finally walks back into view, his arms laden with plates, I hop to my feet and take a seat at the table in the corner.
The smell of the food drifts towards me and I grab the chopsticks, deciding what to dig into first. A plate of extra spicy chili chicken really speaks to me, so I lick my lips and shove as much as I can into my mouth.
Harry:
I give Taylor a weird look as she starts devouring everything she sees, without even taking time to breathe. I clear my throat and pick up my chopsticks.
After eating a dumpling, I snap open a can of Sprite. I lift the can to my lips and take a sip, when I jump out of my chair in shock at the sound of Taylor's metal chopsticks clattering to the marble ground. My eyes open wide as I look over at her.
She has flopped forwards, her head face-down on the table, her fists slamming on the wood like a toddler. She lets out an unattractive, muffled sob and starts shaking. I step back in terror and without thinking, spit out the drink in my mouth, sending Sprite spraying all over our food. Taylor stops wailing for a second to look at me, disgusted, before face-planting back onto the table.
Awkwardly, I stand there holding my Sprite, while Taylor howls, tears staining the tablecloth. I wait for her to quieten down slightly, then lean towards her.
"Uh, Taylor? You alright?"
She shakes her head and wails into my ear,
"Harry, I don't know why I'm crying, but the food is just. So. Good! How can you not cry over food like this?"
She grips my T-shirt and howls into my stomach. Okay, this is definitely the strangest thing to have happened since we got back together. I stand still, staring straight ahead, and pat her back gingerly. Taylor reaches over the table to grab a dumpling, but I grab her wrist, and she throws me an evil death stare.
"Woah, babe. Come on, you'll be alright. Why don't we go to bed now-?"
At this, Taylor's mood changes entirely. She abruptly springs to her feet, and I flinch as she sends a plate of sweet and sour spare ribs flying over the hotel carpet, and she claps her hands excitedly.
"Yay! Catch me!"
She squeals, and before I know what's going on, I'm nearly sent toppling over as she throws herself into my arms. A look of absolute fear crosses my face as I try to wrestle Taylor onto the bed.
Two candy bars, a foot massage, and a pillow fight later, I manage to get Taylor into bed, fast asleep and snoring. I sit next to her out of breath, my face covered with my pillow.
What the hell just happened?!
