The door swings open and a plump, rosy-cheeked woman greets us fondly.

"Morning, Doctor Grant."

I smile at her, and Harry gives a polite nod.

"Please, call me Felicia."

She waddles over to her desk. The pastel pink walls of the office are lined with countless framed photos of her children; a boy, maybe a young teenager, with a toothy grin and spiky blonde hair, and two girls, around age 8 or 9. They're clearly twins, with wild masses of frizzy red hair and mischievous faces. Felicia sees me looking.

"Aren't my kids just adorable?"

I nod in reply.

"Anyways, lets get to it. Why don't you lie yourself down over there, and Harry, you can sit on the seat beside her."

I lower myself onto the recliner, and Felicia walks over, a clipboard in hand.

Harry:

I sit and smile pleasantly in the chair next to Taylor. The doctor walks over to us, and I grip Taylor's fingers.

"So tell me, Taylor, what symptoms have you been facing? Cravings? Morning sickness? Just anything out of the ordinary."

Felicia asks with a smile. Her voice can make anyone feel relaxed and at ease. I look to Taylor as she answers.

"Well, I've had a couple big cravings, but nothing too bad. The morning sickness is really bad. It's all day long, and it's really painful and uncomfortable. But those seem to be the only things I've had so far..."

I raise my eyebrows at this, and clear my throat loudly. Felicia and Taylor both turn to me.

"See, I don't think that's entirely true..."

I trail off, and Taylor leans back and glares pointedly, eyebrows raised.

"What?"

She demands. I look down and mumble some words.

"There have been a few... mood swings"

Taylor lets out a loud and exaggerated sigh of annoyance, but Felicia just chuckles and jots something down onto her clipboard.

"Yes, yes, that's perfectly normal. I'm happy to hear your symptoms have been somewhat under control. Now, before we move onto anything, just for reference, could you tell me about your menstrual cycle?"

I zone out and observe the photos covering the walls of Felicia's children as Taylor gives an in-depth description of her periods. Eventually I hear Felicia's voice.

"Alright, well, everything seems to be normal and in order there. So, Taylor, can you tell me about any illnesses or things of the sort that run in the family?"

Taylor lowers her eyes and wrings her hands, looking uncomfortable.

"Well, I guess- I guess cancer might run in the family...?"

"And have you been exposed to any contagious illnesses recently?"

"Um, Harry had a pretty messed up cold before we came to London..."

"Ok, nothing to worry about there. Now, if you could just come with me for a minute, dear, I'd like to just run some tests, get some figures, and ask you a few more questions."

Taylor squeezes my hand and Felicia presses a button on a small remote, lifting Taylor's seat to an upright position. She clambers out of it and Felicia takes her by the hand, leading her into a separate room, leaving me behind.
